We prepaid the reservation for 4 nights because of rate and decent reviews. The 1st night of stay, our room was small, clean, but a bit worn down as evidenced by torn window covering, and ragged window trim in bathroom. I would have overlooked that since as i said, room was clean, BUT, the A/C was not working. No other rooms were available so we did not sleep that night even though we were brought a fan. The room was hot. Erin was extremely helpful and the following day moved us to a much larger room with a working A/C. That said, the A/C never cooled the room comfortably for us. I would have given the overall experience a lower rating were it not for the friendly staff, especially Erin who fixed our problem to the best of her ability. That said, I would not return to this property, and if you want to sleep in a room where you can control the temperature of your room, this is not it.

We stayed on the 5th floor. Room was ok in size compared to other London hotels. We checked in late and checked out early. AC did not work and room was very hot being on the 5th floor.

Excellent location, just round the corner from Gloucester Road tube station, making travel of Heathrow Airport a breeze. Located in the heart of Kensington so major attractions within easy reach, either by foot or a short tube ride. Perfect for what we wanted.

It is very convenient and central. It is walkable. It is in a great area. Supermarkets and several dining options are within a 4-6 minute walking distance. Great breakfast. Even if you don't opt for it while booking the room, take the discounted offer while checking in—good value for money. The underground is a 4-minute walk—the Piccadilly line is direct to Heathrow.

This is NOT a 4 star hotel. The staff were pleasant and location is great but that is all that was good about it. The physical condition of the hotel is in desparate need of renovation. The carpets smell and are filthy with large stains and in some cases are threadbare in areas. Walls are in need of paint. There was a leak in the ceiling of our shower where water came pouring out of the light fixture when the guest on the floor above had a shower. We were moved to a different room that was so small there was very little room to put our luggage. The windows in the new room weren't sound proof and despite being on the top floor and having the windows closed, we could hear conversations of people walking by on the sidewalk below. One of 2 elevators was out of service, and the dinner restaurant was closed. Not a hotel I would recommend to anyone. There are far nicer and much cleaner options in the area.

We had a good stay here- the hotel is very conveniently located, which made getting to and from central London, the airport and Kings Cross station easy. The room and bathroom were spacious by London standards- overall, great value!

What a dump. This place should be avoided if you can help it. Unpleasant experience from the start. Staff urgently need customer service training. Rooms need renovation. Line of people complaining for one reason or another in the morning. Aircon heater so noisey you cant sleep, but room so cold you must have it on. 2 extra blanekts required as glass so thin, you can feel the breeze from outside. Go somewhere else
