The property seemed outdated inside. There were no power outlets by bed and the bathrooms were mediocre. The food was very good in the restaurant and services was great.
First time at Novotel, was impressed. Lovely room and facilities, although I didn’t get to see swimming pool. Lovely quiet location, with shops, cafe and diners. Closely located to station although I did get lost to find it. Staff were helpful, the only thing that seemed awkward was that Reception were seated very low on table. Definitely recommend for solo travellers and their dogs. Thank you.

Pet friendly is not the word I would use pet surcharge £50 for a 4 kg dog to stay in the same room. No bowl provided nothing for the £50 not what I would Call pet friendly do not profit from pets
There was ongoing construction during the day 9-5 and scaffolding in front of our windows. We had to keep drapes closed. We were not in the room during the construction hours so did not impact us. Hotel was clean and conveniently located and reasonably priced. We had a good stay.
Lush few days. The building work didn’t detract from our stay. Clean, well equipped room.
We loved the clean pool, good gym and provision of towels and good toiletries was appreciated.

The rooms are dated, specifically the carpet was stained. The room we reserved was not ready upon arrival, after 5 pm, as they booked the wrong room, however, the staff worked hard to mend their mistake.
We had a wonderful stay! The staff was so friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way, whenever possible, to meet our needs and make us feel comfortable. The hotel was clean and we had everything we needed. The room was comfortable, clean and quite spacious. (Though the sofabeds are probably best on a short-term basis.) We were pleased with the location - very central and in the immediate vicinity of Little Venice, which is an area that we are drawn to. We also love the immediate neighborhood with the inviting garden walkway to the hotel entrance. The only reason for a slightly lower score on property condition was the current renovations. The renovations were a slight minus, though we found that this did not have a great effect on our stay. (There is notice of the renovations on the hotel website. And the situation is temporary.) All in all, a great hotel option! - and we will be returning.

Be aware: there is building work underway on the outside of the hotel which means scaffolding and workmen outside windows, and drilling noise from 9am until 5pm.
We did not find this out until we checked in!
The official Accor website only shows this if you open the "Hotel Information" box, and states this will be the case from January until November 2024.
It is NOT MENTIONED in the Expedia details, only in the customer reviews (which we unfortunately did not read before making a last-minute booking!).
Having said that, the staff were extremely friendly, patient and helpful, and the noise did not affect us as we were out all day.
The location in Paddington Central is ideal for accessing the tube, with all central tourist attractions within a few stops.
There is an excellent selection of bars, coffee shops and restaurants around the picturesque canal setting.
The bathroom faciltiies in our room were a bit dated and could do with modernising. However when we reported in the morning that our shower door was leaking it had been dealt with by the time we returned for dinner.
This property was in a great location; very walkable to Paddington Station from where you can get anywhere in London. The staff were superb, the hotel was clean and very modern and the rooms quite spacious and comfortable. The area around the hotel was very quiet but within a short distance there were lots of lively dining spots. The breakfast had lots of wonderful choices for all tastes. We would definitely return to this hotel for future stays in London.
Slightly out of the way for our itinerary but that was our choice. Room was for 2 adults 1 child and room was only made up for 2 (happens in a lot of places and was quickly rectified). However, building work going on at the hotel, scaffolding up and some noise. When we got to the room, could not see out of windows due to scaffolding and covering. This was not explained on Expedia site or communicated by the reception staff at check in. We were glad we arrived on a Friday, as not sure who would be outside your window waking up on a working day!
