This hotel was very good and reasonable for the cost. Our one complaint was that the washer/dryer combo did not dry our clothes at all. The beds were comfortable and water hot in the showers. Full kitchen was lovely. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Recommend for multi family or travelers wanting privacy.

It was a pretty good stay. Our apartment was clean and was perfect for what we needed. The only thing I would say is that the couch was really uncomfortable to sit on. The back cushions slid down and exposed the frame of the couch and the fold out bed below.

I was pleasantly surprised at how spacious and modern the apartment was. Location is good, lots of cute small restaurants and coffee shops. Be aware that everything is a-la-carte - early check in, late checkout, extra towels, etc. No air conditioning but the week we were there it was cool enough with just the windows open. Also no linen service unless you stay a full week. There is a washer dryer combo, but ours didn't work. Staff was very nice and helpful too.

Decent spacious apartments with small downsides
I have stayed at the Marlin many times for work stopovers (I don’t live near London) as it’s easy to walk into the office. My experience can be quite variable but on the whole the Marlin is a very good option. The best thing is the space and often the apartments have a bath as well as a shower, which I happen to appreciate. There is also a dishwasher which is handy. Often there is a glitch such as radiators/fridge/water pressure problems, but usually things are good and the staff happy to help where needed. I’ve always found it very clean, though there is wear and tear. These are not immaculate, top notch apartments, but they are decent. Downsides are lack of aircon and I don’t find the beds as comfortable as nearby ApartHotel options (I’ve stayed in many of them in the nearby area).

We had a single room with a pullout but it wasn’t ready for early ck in. So we took a discounted two bedroom. The clerk gave us a penthouse apartment. We had tons of room. It was a great upgrade and we are now spoiled.

Well Located and Spacious Apartment
Lovely 1 bedroom apartment with very spacious lounge area and great facilities, like kitchen and washing machine. Checking jn was a breeze and Misbah & Hanab were very friendly and helpful. Floorboards a bit dated though and needs fixing. Don't like the shower in a bathtub as can be quite difficult to get in and out. Other than that a very nice place to stay with easy access to Underground station, bus stop, shops and restaurants

Spacious, clean but needs a few touch ups
Upon arrival greeted by a friendly professional host. Upon check in (paid £30 for check in at 12) we got to the apartment that looked lovely and clean with a good view. However there were several small issues that need addressing - the apartment needs A/C as it was far too hot and windows don't open much. The end curtain hooks in the main bedroom was broken so let light in which meant sleep was disturbed, as well as the side blind in the main living room next to the sofa bed. The extractor in the bathroom doesn't work. For a penthouse, these little things should be looked at, especially the air con and blackout curtain aspect.

The room was fine, but was not the condition the pictures show. The hotel does not have air conditioning and it was warm while we were there. Overall, it was acceptable, and I would stay there again, but don't expect to be wowed.
