Whilst the overall stay was *ok* there were a few things that dampened the stay. Firstly, we left bags before check in was possible, and came back. When we checked in we had to wait another 15 minutes for the concierge to come back to the desk, - coming from the luggage room and putting his phone away at the same time. When we checked in, we weren’t told where breakfast was, or what time. Nor were any of the facilities explained to us. As we ventured out for the evening we left the luggage and went, arrived back at the hotel at 11pm or so, we found the duvet to have quite a few suspicious stains on the cover. General cleanliness of the room was low, with a lot of dust and even an unflushed toilet.. Breakfast was nice, but very pricey for what you get in the area (I stayed local just the week before and breakfast was 1/2 the price in a similar level of establishment) When we checked out, I brought the room cleanliness up and was told I’d receive contact from a manager. Sadly this has not happened either.

Lovely hotel, staff were great, food was really good too. Only reason I haven't given it 5 stars across the board was because one of the lifts was out of order for our entire stay, causing queues and long waits to get up to the higher floors.

It’s a bit far from the major shopping centers and you have to take the subway to get to the museums, but it’s quiet and it’s very close to the London bridge. Overall it’s decent

We loved the room and helpful staff. Unfortunately the non-working elevator caused long waits throughout our day - it wasn’t practical to have to plan 30 minutes for each elevator ride.

The the staff at reception was excellent. But the maintenance staff terrible, the toilet was choked and there was no room service available, the shower stall had gaps in door so water was coming out it and there was a big puddle in the bathroom

Lovely hotel. Great location
This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and would stay again. Lovely room with fantastic views of the city. Big comfy beds and great bathroom. The only issue was the TV. It was almost impossible to watch anything at all without it buffering and losing signal constantly.

A great hotel on a good location(Subway very near, Tower bridge on walking distance). We wood have rated it 5 stars but the the hospitality of the staff and the reception wasn’t that great. It is very hard for them to put a smile on their faces. One of the elevators close to our rooms(we had booked 2 rooms) was broken. All 3 days we were there. And when we called the reception to ask them when the elevator Will be fixed they would call us back but they never did. There answer after we went to the desk was; “you can walk couple of meters to the other elevators”. We want to complement the team at the breakfast. They were so helpfull and friendly. If it was not for them we would have rated this hotel less stars.
