I stayed the first room. There is only hot water out from the sink. Then change to another room. The shower could could work and only can use the tub. Then, I asked the hotel to fix it. Great location, spacious room and great service. However, it's old and the facility does not work very well.

We were supposed to stay 12 days but hotel room was dirty run down old and ugly not like the pictures, worst hotel we have been to avoid it at all costs , we complained and they gave us a cleaner room that’s all! We left after 1 night and they refused to give us our money back.horrible customer service! Walls were dirty chair had blood on it , terrible

Slow Reception
The check in process was very slow, with a long queue in reception. The lobby seating area was closed for no apparent reason so people were sat next to the queue adding to confusion where the queue ended. After a lengthy wait, we had a free room upgrade which was nice, but then the room was shabby with a noisy refrigerator. Two room keys were issued with only one activated, which led to a lengthy wait trying to get the elevator. We tried to take the stairs but couldn’t find them due to poor signage. On the way down in the elevator it doesn’t indicate which floor you are on. Have stayed here before, but will never return now.

Good location in High Street Kensington
Very good location with 4 mins walk along one street behind HSK tube. Hotel is a bit old and needs updating, as said in previous recents reviews. I took it because it was cheaper than others of 4* in this same area at time of my booking. You can clearly see it was once very good, but now everything about the hotel is dated. I know what I paid, so I am not complaining as it was only for 2 nts. Room was spacious for a twin. we asked for higher floor and was given 7th floor with an open view facing the street leading into the hotel's cul-de-sac. First night - discovered the shower hose was leaking and squirted water from back of shower. This made it impossible to use, so quickly called reception and they sent a technician very quickly and he was very nice and helpful and came back with a replacement hose. Shower fixed within 20mins, excellent. Walls are very thin and could hear the girls in next room talk about their night out!!! They didn't talk too late into the night. But could also hear ppl arriving back to their rooms from the noise in the corridor AND noisy ppl talking from street below. You'd think the hotel double glazing would block outdoor noise? Obviously not. At 2am the aircon started clanking non stop!! Had to switch it off to get any sleep. It was a terrible night's sleep to say the least. Told reception of the aircon noise and insisted it fixed, otheriwise we'd need a room change. They did fix it for our 2nd nt, and we had a much better night's sleep.
