The hotel is pretty far from Central London - takes about 30 min or so on the train have to switch lines from DRL to Jubilee, and there is only one pub near by to eat out, also no grocery stores within walking distance.
However, it has several pluses: the train station is connected to the second floor of the hotel, which was very convenient, safe and made up for the hotel being so remote.
Another positive was that within couple train stops, there is convenient shopping on Stratford station, where you can purchase groceries if needed.
So, if you get a great deal on the hotel price - it is a safe, family friendly and a clean place to stay while visiting London.
