Nice comfortable room. But the best thing about this place is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. My friend misplaced his glasses and asked reception to call him if they found them. My friend got a call later that day to say they hadn’t found them. In the end we found my friends glasses in the car but we were very impressed nonetheless.

Very friendly and capable staff. Very clean. Nice breakfast. Fast WiFi. Room was on a split level which was unusual. Surroundings not very insipiring but if you need a good, solid, well run and econmic hotel, this fits the bill.

To be a 4 Star hotel I really expected something else. The most annoying thing was, everyday, nevertheless with a Do Not Disturb signal on, the cleaning ladies were talking loud in the corridor disturbing the required quiet of clients.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff
We stayed at Birokrat for 6 nights and we really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, even giving us recommendations on what to explore in Slovenia. We especially enjoyed the breakfast. Would stay there again.

The only reason I book this - description said "location in the heart of Ljubljana". This hotel is 4-5 km away from the center. If this does not matter - hotel itself is ok.

Promises more than it delivers
This is really a basic hotel pretending to be more. Free bikes were awful and only free for 2 hours then have to pay. The free swimming pool was 500m up the road and was not free but 50% reduction. No adapter in the hotel though advertised. Beds were very small. I could go on. Ljubijana is lovely but stay somewhere else.!!

This is overated 4 star hotel, may be 2 star.
This hotel should not be 4 star hotel. It is at the most 2 stars. We have been travel extensively, this probably the worst 4 star hotel we had. The staff is not very friendly, the beds are so soft my husband had a back pain in the morning. The breakfast is like continental breakfast not a real hot buffer breakfast.

Excellent place to stay
Wonderful time spent in Ljubljana. The hotel is very good for people with cars as they could easily reach the center (straight road from hotel to center) and the highway (3 minutes). Large rooms and clean
