Getaway
Dated property but adequate for our needs. Holes in screens made it difficult to leave door open because of mosquitos. Firepit was really nice and lake location was excellent. For someone looking to take advantage of actvities on the water will love this property.

Not a great vacation
The inside has obviously been redone and is nice and clean. The outside is not so up to date. There were dead bugs in the lights so the lights were blocked and we felt unsafe outside after dark. The house outside decks and stairs need to be cleaned and fixed. On the front porch there was spots with mildew and mold and some rotted boards. We left after two days as we did not feel safe going up and down the outside stairs to take our dogs out.

Great family getaway
We had a great time at Songbird View! The house was perfect with an amazing view. There was plenty of room for our family to space out and enjoy themselves. The kitchen had everything we possibly needed for our stay. We enjoyed lots of our meals on the deck. The kayak and paddle board were great for our children and the adults to enjoy. The extra boat slip was a nice touch to use for jet skies.

Great location with wonderful views. Having access to paddle board and kayak made stay that much more enjoyable. Recommend advising renters to not go barefoot, lots of rough boards on deck and dock.

The house was great! The outside was equally amazing especially the dock and firepit area. We stayed 5 nights with two teenagers and two younger children. Everyone loved it.The host was also extremely friendly and helpful

Lovely Cove
We had a fabulous stay. The property was exactly as listed. The little cove the house is located by was perfect for younger kids to safely play in the water right off the dock. They enjoyed the paddle board and kayak provided and the ladder off the dock was perfect for them to get out of the water. The available slip was a great addition for getting our boat put away when not in use. We will rent again in the future if available.
