The positive first:
Hotel staff is wonderful. Very friendly and helpful with great recommendations on things to see and do along with restaurants.
The location is great- you are walking distance from the river, Time Out Market, tons of shopping, restaurants, and points of interest.
The not great: the hotel is definitely artsy, which is part of the reason we booked. We thought it was a unique, upscale hotel. Our room was at best average. It was mostly white tiles and floors with a mural over the bed. It was a general cold and uncomfortable vibe and not much space at all. There was a peep show window to the shower from the bedroom, which thankfully had a shade you could pull but was super strange.
We missed having our room serviced the first day because we slept in. The second day it was needed badly and we left the room at 9am, hoping it would be done when we got back at 2. It wasn’t and we waited an additional 2 hours for it to be serviced (so 7 hours total).
We stayed in hotels at similar price points/location hubs in Madrid and Seville and had luxurious rooms, pools, and room service. I feel like the rate you are paying here is for the artsy experience, because it’s definitely not the comfort.
This was the least favorite of our hotels in our 6 city trip.
