It’s near a lot of shopping and attractions. It’s a nice place and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. The one thing I didn’t like about the room I stayed in is that the bathroom is right next to the street and it’s uncomfortable to do anything because people can see you. Other than that everything was great. Thank you!

Pros: Nice simple and clean property with great location in the heart of Lisbon. Few cons: There is no air conditioning and the air circulation is limited. Disappointments: we took the breakfast option but realized that the breakfast was served starting 8am (all other places we stayed at in Portugal, the breakfastwas at 7am). We had tours and flights for which we had to leave at 730am. They did not want to give us a refund and committed on providing us a packed breakfast. They did that the first day and forgot to pack breakfast for us the second day. Hope they read this and give us a refund.

The location is perfect. We walked a lot to city centre and it is close to the metro/buses, and train stations, and is close to a lot of restaurants too. The internet access worked pretty well. The beds are comfortable. The front desk was super friendly. We were allowed to leave our luggage with them before the check-in time. Thank you!

I had a great stay at Inn Bairro Alto. I was travelling alone. I felt very safe. The room was very clean and had a fan which was needed for the warmth of Portugal. I had a private room with a shared bathroom with a few toilets and showers. There was never anyone in the bathroom which was nice. The front desk staff were all so lovely. The location is perfect!!! Steps away from everything, but still feels quiet enough.

This isn’t your typical hotel stay. There isn’t always someone at the front desk, which can be inconvenient at times. Also, my fiancée was startled by a couple of cockroaches in the bathroom — something that definitely needs attention.
