We stayed in the penthouse apartment for 9 days. We enjoyed every minute. Casas da Baixa is also very responsive when inquiries are made. Will stay here again!

I was wonderful upon entering! A charming space with everything needed for a pleasant stay. There was little presence of staff but we received prompt response upon reaching out. Neighborhood was safe and lively!

Great apartment. Wonderful location. Perfect for a short stay. No laundry either on property or nearby. No where nearby to take apartment garbage. No place to really get groceries nearby if you plan to cook.

We loved the balcony, but unfortunately you can't sit on it. Being on the top floor, it was quieter, considering the city noise. Great location. Walkable to everything. Breakfast was a nice treat.

The apartment was clean & spacious & had everything we needed. The location is excellent being walkable to Commerce Square, Rossio Square, Castle of Sao Jorge, the Metro & railway stations & the shops. We didn't see any staff as there is no reception service but we were contacted via WhatsApp & given contact telephone numbers for daytime and out of hours if needed. We asked if we could have an upper floor apartment & were on the 4th floor which was very soundproof..it was nice to hear the hustle bustle from the street when we opened the window but once we closed it we couldn't hear any noise at all. Just a couple of points to make..the website says luggage storage is available but this is not the case. Also the wood flooring outside the bathroom door was warped & had been stuck down with what looked like parcel tape which didn't give a very good first impression when we walked in. However, the rest of the apartment was lovely & we had a great holiday!

We stayed in the penthouse which was wonderful. It was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. The large shared room included a full kitchen, dining area, and lounge area. The property is situated very close to dining, shopping, and tourist attractions. We had one maintenance issue and the staff responded to it very quickly. This is a great property for two couples travelling together.

Close to main port area and dining places.
Place was central to port and main area. The place was clean. Both air conditioner not working. Nice kitchen. Door to enter building had a broken lock so anyone can push open and enter building. Contact with the property manager was very slow to reply so think a day ahead about any questions.

Very clean and very centrally located. Overall the area is not too noisy but walls are thin and can hear doors closing and people talking which can be challenging for a light sleeper. Bed is comfortable and owner was responsive. There is an elevator which was convenient for luggage and unit was well equipped including coffee (although we didn’t cook). Definitely recommend this place as it was very easy to walk around Chiado, Baixa and Bairro Alto!

The apartment is charming and clean, we came for three nights. The first night we found out we had a single blanket for two adults. In the morning we wrote them that we needed another blanket, they claimed that they would search for us and returned after a few hours that they were short of blankets, and their shocking answer was "this is the standard and turn on the air conditioner if you are cold" We tried to get the manager who did not make time to talk to us, only the next day and after we had spoken with Expedia Only on the third day did they bring us a double blanket, so it turns out they have some. The answer was appalling and they treated us terribly. DON'T GO THERE!

Great Place in Lisbon.
This was like having an apartment in the center of Lisbon. Loved the elevator since we were on 4th floor with luggage. Near everything and very comfortable. Excellent AC. A mere couple blocks from the main walking street. Near river, Lisbon Cathedral, Castelo de S. Jorge. Reasonable price too.

Location was very centrally located to all areas and attractions. Very easy instructions for getting into apartment and loved that there was an elevator to the 5th floor. Appreciated the coffee maker and pods! The water pressure in the shower was amazing! Although the tub gets very slippery. Be careful when leaving the windows open, no screens and lots of bugs get in. Bedroom lighting could be a bit brighter. Overall, this was a great stay and would definitely rebook if in Lisbon ever again!

Loved the unit. But please put a blanket on the bed. There was only a sheet. Also, the entry was not clean. The unit was very clean. The box spring needs to be covered it’s messy looking.
