The hotel is very close to the ferry terminal. Very helpful staff, Our ferry was canceled due to adverse weather and the staff were very accommodating and let us stay in our room for another night for a small fee. There was an outside space with views of the volcano that was very relaxing to sit in on an evening.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were efficient and helpful, and the room itself was very comfortable. I especially loved the balcony overlooking the main street — perfect for relaxing and people watching. The breakfast was excellent The location couldn’t be better, just a short walk from the ferry, which made getting around really convenient. Would happily stay again.

Great Stay in Stromboli

Incredible position with sea and volcano view. Very close to the port and restaurants. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Very welcome air con in the bedrooms.

Ossidiana has a great location

We picked Ossidiana for it's convenient location right next to port, in part because someone in our group was a bit scared of sleeping on a volcano island😄, and also because it has very beautiful rooms and a view. Our room had the port view with all the little fishing boats, while the side entry patio had the best volcano view. Bring some food and drink and relax! They also have very local food assortment at the breakfast buffet, nice desserts. We liked that we didn't need to rely on transportation or walk far to get to the ferry.

No frills!!

No frills at this hotel, the location is ideal for visiting Stromboli but the beds are uncomfortable, rooms are dated, small and cold, staff pretty much non existent other than twice a day to open reception, breakfast was average. It is low season so perhaps that was why (April 2024). If you’re visiting Stromboli check the crossing timetables as cancellations can mess with your schedule. The one helpful thing the staff did was to message us to advise that our crossing had been cancelled well before the ferry company did so that was very much appreciated. Other than that there was very little hospitality shown for the guests here.
