Beach access is via 50 gentle stairs (with two handrails) or a paved ramp to drive onto the beach! In fact, during April - Sept, many people like to park their cars on the beach (right below the condo) when the tide is out! But twice a day, the tide rolls in, and clears everybody out!!!
No pets allowed. Please do not ask to bring a favorite animal. It just doesn't work to mix animals, and folks with allergies in our private condo. I cannot host guests with dogs, because I have other guests, who specifically ask me for "allergen-free" rooms. I do not have pet-friendly rooms.
Parking in a beach town is challenging but manageable. We have 11 off-street parking spaces. Some will accommodate large vehicles, others will not. If you are driving a small vehicle, please be considerate and choose a small parking space. Please be aware that a large 4-door truck may find parking in our lot challenging, and you might find it more comfortable to park on a side street.
At check-in, we issue one parking permit for our lot, and vehicles without permits will be subject to towing.
Extra vehicles can find parking on the side streets of 15th and 14th Streets. Please be advised, that Lincoln City writes tickets if vehicles park in their lot across the street between 1-5 a.m.
Bring your own BBQ to enjoy at the beach, or bring some newspaper and kindling to light a campfire on the beach! (The driftwood is often wet and hard to start without dry wood, but burns great once going!)
At time of booking, you can view our House Manual inside this AirBnb listing, and see our Welcome Letter and get the access code for the front door key lockbox, so you can let yourself into the condo anytime after 4 pm.
For your planning purposes: our rates are based on occupancy. Extra guests over the number of two cost only $5/person/night, and are quoted in your price when you include the total persons in your party. This makes our condo affordable for couples or families. If you arrive with additional guests who are undeclared, our extra person charge is $10/person/night.
We love the immediate beach access from the Wheelhouse condo! Walk the beach, looking for glass floats among the cliffs and sea grass. Fly kites, enjoy a beach campfire, or spin a doughnut in the sand with your vehicle...yes, they are all permitted on this section of beach!
Only one off-street parking spot is included with this condo. But feel free to park on any side street.
You can also park across the street in the City Parking lot, but NOT between 1-5 am, or they will tow your vehicle :(

This is a vacation condo. In an effort to offer an awesome beach experience at a minimal price, we provide clean towels and linens at the beginning of each guest's stay, but we do not have daily housekeeping, nor provide clean towels daily.
We do provide bath soap bars, complimentary shampoo and conditioner in separate bottles, as well as complimentary coffee for a day or two (depending on how much one consumes :)
It's very easy to step outside and walk around to the edge of the lawn and enjoy the ocean air and sights, downlooking from the bluff to view the tide pools and people on the beach below.
BRING BINOCULARS for your trip! From here, you can watch ships, whales, people, birds, and vehicles stuck in the sand...great fun! The telescope requires some patience and skill to focus it on a far-away star...instructions are on a DVD in the desk in the living room.
