A housekeeper quit and one called out sick. We were unable to get into our room until 5 pm. We had to keep checking in to see if it was ready despite new people coming in and being able to get into their room.

The mattress was so badly used that, it sank in and the air condition was not clean it was throwing dust, when I told the front desk she said that they are short of staff and it will be taken care of soon. we asked for additional towels which did not come to the room.

It wasn't all bad
The staff i interacted with were all amazing. Especially the woman at the front desk that last day. My problem is the room smelled terrible and was dirty. I actually bought febreeze to make the stay bearable. There was sand and fur in the bathroom. We did not have a dog so it wasnt ours. One of my kids spilled water on the floor in the main room and when i cleaned it up the rag was basically black. The food was good. The pool area asked you to take a shower but there wasnt one to use anywhere. Other than that the pool was good. They kept everything well maintained and checked everything at least a couple times i noticed.

Does the job for adventurers.
Stay was ok. There were stress issues that didn't affect us directly but there was definitely a lot on angst in the building. Mattresses not ideal. Too soft and springy. The breakfast was very hospital food like but still a cool amenity especially for the price of the room. Lots of features. If you don't plan on being in the room, besides to sleep, it's a good value.

The beds were horrifically soft, like a water bed without the water. There were people being loud through the night down the hall, even small children running and yelling around midnight which really upset our dog. The lining at the bottom of the front door was falling off which didn't help the noise. The housekeeper just let herself in at 10:30 AM as our 6 year old was coming out of the shower. She didn't speak any English except "sorry". Not THE worst hotel we've stayed at in Lincoln City, but probably wouldn't do it again.

Never again Ashley inn in Lincoln city!!!!
Our room was infested with ants. Crawling on us in our bed. Kept us awake all night swatting ants. Crawling on the counters and in the bathroom. Front office said they are a problem but nothing they could do. I asked for a refund and they just handed me a card with a number to call. Not pleased, never again or refer to anyone

It was clean enough my wife said it was acceptable. Staff did not make us feel as though they were happy to see us but were helpful and considerate , mostly just did what their job required of them. Felt it was priced to high for the quality and service we received.

We have stayed here many times but the last couple of visits have been bad. This time our room was very dirty and the toilet was broken. Maintenance came and fixed the toilet quickly and he was very pleasant. No one addressed the cleanliness of the room or the fact that we needed more towels even after asking multiple times. I’ll stay somewhere else next time.
