I called at 9 am asking for early check-in of 1:30 pm. I was told it would likely be possible. When I arrived at 2 pm my room was not available. No biggie as nothing was promised. At 2:37 pm I was told my room was ready. We then went up to the room and it reeked of marijuana horribly. So much so that I did not unpack my clothing. I had meetings all weekend and didn’t want to smell of marijuana. Changing rooms was not an option as the front desk told us they didn’t have any other rooms available after I told them I didn’t need a handicap accessible room upon arriving. I went into the bathroom to wash up and there was short blond hairs in the sink. It’s apparent to me that this room’s linens were changed but nothing else was done. Under the bed there were dust bunnies and hanging from the curtain was a spiders web. Disgusting. I won’t be back.

Good hotel, location is good, not noisy even though it’s close to the highway. Cracker Barrel, McDonald’s, Subway, and a gas station all within walking distance. Jason and Tara at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Beds and pillows were comfy. Bathroom is twice the size of normal hotels, rooms are also bigger. Pool was too cool for me but husband and daughter liked it. Breakfast was ok. Bagels, muffins, danishes, bread for toast, oatmeal, mixed fresh fruit (watermelon was not good), yogurt with toppings, waffle makers; waffle mix was pumpkin flavored, I did not care for that, biscuits, gravy, sausage, and eggs, eggs were off. The scrambled had yellow water in it probably not cooked thoroughly, and the fried ones tasted watery.

Hotel was great but we had a last minute change in my wife's schedule that had us push our stay to the 13th, one day later. That was difficult for Expedia to do and we had to book another direct reservation with the hotel for the 13th. At the same time Expedia said they would cancel the reservation on the 12th. It has taken hours to get this done and its still not settled.

Best breakfast spread I’ve had thus far at a hotel that didn’t cost $300 a night! The staff were wonderful always so kind. Quiet- safe- walking distance to Cracker Barrel which was nice as we had a dog and got take out instead of fast food again. Highly recommend- I’ll be returning!
