The Space:
Located in Launceston, this home is a fantastic choice for families and groups wanting to stay close to the city! With space for up to 5 guests, you’ll have everything you need for a comfortable stay. You’ll be within walking distance of amazing cafés, restaurants, beloved local pubs, bars and cocktail bars.

The apartment is on the top floor of a 2-story apartment complex and features a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, stove and dishwasher, along with a Euro laundry area that includes a washing machine. The open-plan living area is cosy with a comfy sofa and smart TV, and you’ll find a quaint balcony where you can unwind with your morning coffee or an afternoon drink. There’s also a charming small courtyard upon entry which is private and fully-fenced.

The spacious apartment features 3-bedrooms, 2 featuring comfy queens and the other a snug single. You'll also be treated to 2 bathrooms, allowing plenty of convenience throughout your stay.

To make your stay as comfortable as possible, we provide fast and unlimited free WiFi, instant coffee, tea, and sugar, along with a coffee machine (please bring your own Nespresso-compatible pods). You’ll also find shampoo, conditioner, body wash, detergents and a complete set of clean, white towels and linens.

If you’re travelling with little ones, we’ve got you covered with a cot and high chair available during your stay. Just a heads-up: there are 14 stairs to enter the main living area and bedrooms, but there’s a door you can close at the top of the stairs. Unfortunately, we don’t provide baby gates.

Launceston is a beautiful city blending both city and country charms, with heritage streetscapes, a slice of urban wilderness and gourmet food and drink available at every turn. We aren’t just biassed, many agree, with Launceston named Australia’s best town to visit in 2022!

Nestled amongst these beautiful buildings, you will find many delicious cafés and restaurants, an array of shops and boutiques, a vast range of cocktail bars and pubs and many amenities and recreational spaces.

Launceston has many things to see and do including the vibrant Harvest Market every Saturday morning, the Princess Theatre hosting local, interstate, and international performances, the Star Theatre for a cosy, cinematic experience, or some of Launceston’s live, musical talent that is displayed across many pubs and venues.

Often referred to as the 'Lygon’ Street of Launceston, you will find some of Launceston’s most popular eateries and amenities on the illustrious Charles Street. George St is also known as ‘Eat Street’ with a range of restaurants, bars, gin houses and cafes to cater for most tastes.

The Cataract Gorge is a spectacular natural formation where you can enjoy long and short walks, fresh water swimming basins, the world's longest single-span chairlift and vibrant peacocks! An additional, unique way to experience this attraction is via the Tamar Cruise vessel, which cruises through the waters that carve between the rocky formations.

The City Park which is known for its beautiful oak tree gardens, playground for the children, a plant-filled conservatory and cheeky snow monkeys. Nearby, you will find Penny Royal World. This attraction provides you and the family with a fabulous day out, with boat rides, rock climbing, rope courses, and more found here. For the adults Penny Royal also provides a beautiful atmosphere where you can enjoy a wine or coffee.

Also an area to note is the Seaport Precinct. Here you will find some of Launceston’s most beloved restaurants and bars scattered along the edges of the Tamar River. Restaurants to note are Mud Restaurant and Bar, the Levee Food Co. and Spice. Across the bridge you will find the Riverbend Park for all day play entertainment. You will also find the Boathouse Café and Silo Hotel.

Getting Around:
To get the most out of your stay, to be able to explore all that Launceston and its surrounds have to offer, a car is recommended. Additionally, there are many alternative options listed below:

METRO BUS SERVICE: Metro bus service provides transportation throughout Launceston and its surrounding suburbs each day. To access timetables, routes, and prices, please visit the Metro Tasmania Website.

FREE TIGER BUS: The bus travels around the city. There are bus stops located nearby outside Princes Square Park and the Launceston General Hospital. ELECTRIC SCOOTERS: You will find purple electric scooters scattered around Launceston. To access these, please download the App ‘Beam’. Please wear the helmet provided and be safe!

BIKE RENTAL: Roll Cycles at 112 Cimitiere St offer bike rentals with options to suit most riders. Whether you are taking a leisurely stroll around town or taking on our world-famous mountain bike trails, Roll Cycles have you covered.

UBER: Uber is a popular form of transport used by many locals and tourists. To use, simply download the ‘Uber’ app on your phone and book a ride to your destination.

TAXI: Local taxi service can be found on the internet.

AIRPORT SHUTTLE: The airport shuttle service can be found on the internet.

Other Things to Note:
One flight of stairs to access the apartment (14 stairs). Unfortunately no lift.

The carport is around 270mm wide and around 800mm long for those travelling with larger vehicles.

Great property 2 min drive to CBD. 5 min walk to coles. A community shopping strip, cafes restaurant and local pub across the road. Lots to see and do. Very comfortable apartment. We would come back. Lots of room to move if you had 2 couples staying.
