Room was clean but old. Needed a wake up call to catch a flight they "dont do that". Very annoying. Casino was hand pay only...so if you're left with less than a $1 on a machine you have to decided if its worth it to wait for however long it takes them to come pay you out or just leave money in the machine. Can smoke all.you want but not cigars....only casino I have ever been in that doesnt allow cigars. Was going to stay there on my way back....c

Adequate Stay, Great Price

The Mardi Gras is definitely a great choice for someone looking to go to Vegas on a budget. It's a very reasonable price in an area that is fairly safe and not too far away from the strip. The downside? The place looks quite dated on the inside/out (especially in comparison to the surrounding hotels). Admittedly, it's not a great first impression even if you know this in advance. The good news is that everything at the hotel was clean, the service was exceptional, and the food was actually very reasonable and well priced. This is not a fancy resort that you might want to spend time at with a significant other; but it's absolutely fine/great for people who are just looking for a place to crash while they enjoy the city.

Probably one of the worst stays I’ve ever had..to start the room was disgusting this place has a roach infestation, the “non smoking” rooms smell like they were hotboxed with cigarettes, and theirs mystery splatters all over the walls. On top of that we got woken up early to a scam call to our hotel room claiming we needed to provide our credit card info over the phone for the deposit even though it was paid up front apparently this is normal for them so watch out. Would not recommend staying here
