If you looking for a quick and cheap sleep then you found it.. but know that the carpets are nasty stains everywhere.. toilet is coming undone from the floor, shower falling apart, bed sinks in, rooms smell.. I would say fork out a few $20’s more and go somewhere else…

Dear Expedia, Thanks for asking about my stay at Howard Johnson by Wyndham Las Vegas near the Strip. I was traveling with a family member with some health issues, and we have never had such a terrible experience before at any hotel we stayed at. We could not spend the night we checked in and did not stay there at all for the duration of our trip. We checked out on Friday, November the 13th. We asked for a receipt indicating we checked out that night but the staff refused to give us any information saying we have booked through a third party, Expedia in our case, but they have entered information about the checkout into their computer system which Expedia has access to and we have to contact Expedia. When I first booked through expedia, I looked at the pictures posted and all looked reasonable until we got to see the actual place. In summary, 1. What disappointed us most was the admission by the staff that those pictures on the hotel website are old pictures from times when the hotel was in good condition. How a professional business could do such a thing is beyond me. 2. The room was very unclean, the carpet was dirty and the bathtub was in horrible condition. 3. The staff was very unfriendly, not willing to address our concerns and answer any questions saying we have booked through a third party, Expedia in our case, and we have to contact them. Please do not stay at this place. I should have known from the smell in the lobby that this is not a good place to stay. Good location but that’s it. Door lock was broken. Broken toilet. Shower tub has massive wear and tear. Sink emits sewage smell. Found a big eye lash on the dirty wall behind bathroom door that must have bad water damage from the looks of it. On the other side of that wall there is a strong oder that I believe is water damage coming from tub. We woke up with sore throats from the smell being so strong. All our clothes had the stench impregnated from whatever was rotting in that room. Glad we brought sheets from home to use, and ended up throwing away after that experience. Pay extra and stay somewhere else. Never again. so bad I can still smell the stench a day after in my nose. Left and stayed on the strip at MGM across street. I don’t think they clean these rooms just change nasty sheets. Don’t look at the other side of the pillow.

This was rhe dirtiest, most seedy hotel i have ever experienced. We left immediately and got a refund. The beds were covered in blood and urine stains, every surface was dirty including the door and the furniture was broken. Prostitutes and people with guns walking around the entire property and everything was dirty and falling apart. no matter how desperate you are for a room, do not stay here.

We were very disappointed in this property that was not clean outside and broken down inside. We rented this place knowing that this place would be fine since it was owned by Wyndam. What a disappointment. We could have rented a other named place for less and had a fine experience. Next time in Vegas, that is what we will do.

Very comfortable. The only disturbance was the sound of the toilet every minute. It seemed to be flushing or cycling water but the noise would happen too frequent enough to be unavoidingly noticeable
