FEEDBACK FOR OYO HOTEL – SHAMEFUL, ABUSIVE, AND COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE
I want to document the terrible experience we had at this hotel. We made a reservation in advance —which they only allow by phone or online— and we clearly informed the agent that we would pay at the hotel’s front desk. Everything was confirmed with no issues.
When we went to the counter to add one more night to our existing reservation, the employee told us —with complete irresponsibility— not to pay that day and to come back the next morning instead. We trusted his instructions.
When we returned the next day, we were shocked to find that our reservation had been canceled without any notification, and the worst part: no one took responsibility. They offered no help, no solution, and not even the slightest intention to fix their own mistake.
To make matters worse, when we tried to remake the reservation over the phone, they tried to charge us double the original price —basically charging us for ONE night what we paid for FOUR nights on expedia.com An outrageous and abusive practice.
We lost over an hour the previous day following their wrong instructions, and they made us waste even more time on Saturday.
The disorganization, negligence, and complete lack of professionalism from the staff are alarming. No hotel that claims to offer service should treat guests this way.
A frustrating, abusive, and embarrassing experience that I would never recommend to anyone.
