Conveniently located and comfortable hotel
I was doing an art show in Mount Gretna and this hotel was conveniently located close by. It served its purpose; the rooms were clean and the beds and pillows were comfortable. However, the hotel does need some work/upgrades to better align with the daily rate. The rooms are a little dated, the shower pressure was very poor, and the toilet was loose.

Everything that we needed
Here for a church conference. Everything was fine. Breakfast is either cold cereal or microwaved sandwiches. Coffee was good. We could tell that, as many hotels are these days, it us short staffed. Yet room had everything we needed. Good stay at a decent price...compared to other Lancaster County hotels!

Front desk tried to authorize payment in advance and then blackmailed me to pay. I advised that we were on the road and young man at desk stated that I had to allow authorization right now or they would cancel my reservation. He was unprofessional and rude. Could be a better property if they turned on the TV and lights in lobby and added some sounds/music. Not very inviting. TVs were also outdated and carpets were dirty. Lobby and hall furniture needs updating and refreshing.

The first room they offered us was very smokey, and the carpet was dirty to the point it needed to be replaced. They didn't have another king bed to offer us (the one offered was a handicap room), but they had a double bed. It was a little better, but it was run down.

The staff was friendly. The hotel was quiet. They offer breakfast, but it wasn't a large selection on the morning that we were there. We got a good night's sleep, but you can certainly hear other guests in other rooms when you are in the bathroom. Our plans during our stay were canceled, so we stayed in the hotel more than we had planned. It would have been nice if the TV was newer. The picture was poor and very limited channel selection. We would stay here again, but if you are looking for a hotel stay with numerous perks, than I would recommend choosing another location.
