This hotel is a beautiful building in disrepair, our first room was so dirty, polite manager agreed and moved us, this room had a broken window which we couldn’t shut! Room service barely made bed, didn’t hoover in four nights etc. very dated. The breakfast buffet was great and all staff friendly and doing their best.

Lovely grand hotel in a quiet location. Conveniently located for visiting the attractions of blackpool, being just a short walk to the North Pier. We wanted a quick bar meal as we had arrived late, but the bar area is small and there was a musician on, so all the tables were taken. Instead we had to find somewhere to eat in town. For a very large hotel, the bar area appeared to be extremely small.

Lovely majestic looking hotel from the outside, but could do with some tlc on the inside. Our bedroom window wouldn't close, and the bathroom window was painted shut! Stair carpets were loose in places. Reception staff were lovely, restaurant staff were a tad unorganised, it was all a bit manic at breakfast time. The food was really good though with plenty of choice. Would stay again.
