When I arrived they was nobody on the hotel. I had to look for another hotem
For this low price, the hotel exceeded my expectation. It has good WiFi, hot shower, decent size room and portable heating. The front desk is very help. We can use a room (with minimum fee) for a hot shower after we came back from over night tour.
Everything about the hotel was good. Location is questionable but the hotel is safe. Room is big, clean and spacious. We came in at 5 AM and allowed us to check in early to double twin room instead of a double.

Good location but need some upgrades
Good location within walking distance to the main square. Water temperature of the shower is just warm only with low water pressure. Room is cold but you can get a portable heater. Pillow is soft. Breakfast is only bare minimum. Some odour smell from old carpet. Toilet flushing is low in pressure. It's okay for an overnight stay but not beyond. Price wise is reasonable.
Everything was great, beds were comfy and room was clean. I was under the impression we got one room but we somehow got a three bed apartment with full kitchen. Excellent surprise
The hotel facilities are like new. Really clean, new materaces, lovely staff, good breakfast, literally 3min walk to main square. I loved my stay there!!
We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights on either side of an overnight tour that we took to Lake Titicaca. It was a lovely hotel with charming staff and they kindly took in our luggage while we were away on our island tour. The hotel is conveniently located with very close access to the centre of Puno and all the bars and restaurants.
Comfortable and easy access to main attractions. Staff were great with our additional requests.

Hotel in Puno
Very friendly receptionist but hotel itself not great. No room heater - and it was 0 degree Celsius outside. Breakfast ok - will freshly cook eggs for you. About 5 minutes walk to central Puno and about 300m to the train station.
The staff were more than accommodating to my friends needs who suffered from altitude sickness by bringing her copious amounts of free coca and muña tea and when that failed, they brought oxygen. Also great with organising bus travel and tours and border crossings to Bolivia
Our bathroom was extremely clean and we got hot water at all hours of the day - it never gave off the smell that unfortunately too many South American budget hotels have due to the pipe work.
Breakfast was great - a large selection of breads, tea, fruit and eggs. If this is your first South American stay, you might be disappointed with this but after 6 months here, I can say that quality and range were brilliant
We only stayed for one night, but the staff were very helpful. They ordered us pizza as we arrived very late and then also organised an airport transfer for the next morning. The room was very comfortable and bathroom clean. They turned on the heater so we had a good night sleep. The breakfast was simple but had fresh fruit and bread. I would recommend this place.
We had reserved 2 rooms. Upon arrival we were told that there was only 1 room available for us. We showed the hotel both our reservations upon which after approximately 20 minutes they were able to accomedate us.
The stay was pleasant however there were at least 4 power outages of an hour or more during our 2 night stay at the hotel which affected the hot water for the shower. We don't know if this was a hotel or utility company problem.
