Another happy pet-friendly stay at 3 Peaks!
This was our third time staying at 3 Peaks and this time we brought family and got them their own room. The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, nicely appointed in a mountain cabin style. The kitchenette was super handy and well-equipped with dishes, pots and pans, silverware, coffeemaker, refrigerator, everything we needed. Staff was friendly, welcoming and efficient. We love that this is a pet-friendly resort, one of the primary reasons we choose this hotel over others. The other reason is its convenient location to lovely Lakeside Beach, Stateline casinos, restaurants and stores. After arriving, we walked most places and to go anywhere far we rented Lime e-scooters, which were easily found in many nearby spots. I do recommend reading the informative sheet about bears that the hotel provides in each room and tells how to react if you see them, as our family members were startled by bears getting into the hotel's trash bins here around 10 PM. However, we understand that the Tahoe area is bear habitat, and we humans are the interlopers in their home so need to be aware.

We have been coming to 3 Peaks for 10 years. We were very disappointing, but there this year. Housekeeping is not done on daily basis, which we totally understand. We were told that housekeeping would be available on request. We asked for new sheets and towels on Wednesday evening. At our check out on Saturday, we had still not received new bedding. We even requested again on Thursday for the bedding to be replaced and were told "they had no extra sets of sheets to give us!" This is not acceptable and we will not be staying here again.

The room was okay, seemed dark and gloomy. The part that bothered me the most is it wasn't clean at all! There was hair from other tenants still in the shower and on the sink counters. The carpet was dirty, did not look like it had been vacuumed in a long time, and the bathtub didn't work

The room was great. Looks like they’re renovating but room was comfy. The bed was absolutely comfortable! I had a great nights sleep! The resort is in the middle of everything. Walking distance to the village and the lake! The pool/jacuzzi area was nice. I would definitely stay again!

The property is conveniently located and has a nice Tahoe vibe about it. The pool and hot tub area was quite nice. Full disclosure, the rooms could be a little better maintained (plumbing), wobbly (and noisy) ceiling fan, etc. The office staff was more interested in busy work than in greeting their guests. Not unpleasant - just not welcoming.

Our stay was good in general. The rooms need some work, like the microwave was wably and moved every time we used it. The safe was hanging by one screw, wably as well. Overall OK.

I liked that they allow pets. I don’t like that when I asked about pet fees they lied about them and how much. When I called to book I explained I wanted to relax at the pool or in the jacuzzi with my wife they said we have the best! Both were closed for renovations. Check in was at 3pm and after a 7 hour drive I attempted to check in just after 3, not ready. Ten til 4, not ready, and staff was inconvenienced by me trying to check in so they said they would just call when house keeping was done. Since they told me my room number I could see no housekeeping in my room, but decided to walk the area with my wife and dogs. About 4:45, no call, I decided to go back and still no answers. Confused and concerned I asked to speak to a manager when I was told no by the front desk and asked to leave for being rude. When I asked for my money back she said no you booked through Expedia good luck with them. This was humiliating in front of my wife and other guests. It’s like the person working was trying to get a reaction and my lack of one angered her to the point of kicking me out when I asked for a manager. Expedia called in an attempt to help but the woman said I was rude. Well after a 7 hour drive, no restroom and three hours of trying to check into a room I paid nearly a $1,000 for if I wasn’t a little rude I wouldn’t be human. That being said I have witnesses who were to scared to help because they might get kicked out too. Most bizarre experience.

Could be better, good for short stays.
Although smaller than we imaged the room has everything listed in the web site, tub, shower, kitchen, refrigerators, sofa bed, in room safe. However I have to move couple furnitures so I can layout the sofa bed properly. Many of the electrical plugs don't work. The ones on the lamps definitely don't work. One plug is very loose so my computer power brick just keep falling out. Some plugs are in very hard to reach locations. Some are control by a light switch, very weird. AC unit in the bedroom don't work very well, is noisy and cannot seem to cool very long time before shutting itself down. Good thing it was not very hard during the night for our stay. Parking is relative easy, pool and jacuzzi seems adequate.
