"We’ve stayed in the Highlands/Cashiers area for decades…this place and host is just truly fantastic. The mtn home is fully stoked with everything you could need for a very comfortable stay. From great family board games, to three distinct sitting areas/two with a great gas fireplace, great kitchen and appliances, super comfortable beds, wonderful outdoor living spaces with wood burning fireplace and smart tv’s… you just will not be disappointed. We love the location of this home and community to some of the areas best hikes and outdoor excursions. We had two separate questions for our host which were handled quickly and so warmly. We made some great memories as a family here and plan to return. You’ll love it. "

The house had everything from cooking and baking supplies to firewood and a cornhole game on the porch. The views of the lake were spectacular.
