Perfect Location, Oceanview & Comfort
The property is perfect, perched atop a hill with panoramic views of the Laguna Beach coastline and town. Casa Loma is within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and the Pageant. The newly renovated and updated hotel suites were lovely and very comfortable! And there's nothing like hearing the ocean waves from your terrace overlooking the sea below!

Great staff and clean rooms. The beach access was great! Some rooms are far too noisy due to the foot traffic from the beachgoers. The property is still under renovation but there was minimal noise from it. I would stay here again once renovations are complete.

Laguna Getaway
When we arrived the hotel was being renovated. We were a little worried but the staff were accommodating and made sure we had help with luggage and we even got an extra room for free to help with the two bed need. Putting our rooms side by side. Very clean and eco friendly. Would recommend and stay again.

Beautiful location when renovations are complete. So far the decor looks great and modern. Our room was modern and had good air conditioning, but wasn't located facing the water, but a busy and full of boxes for the renovations and workers. So not any privacy. Bathrooms could of used a better cleaning job. But nice room and convenient for a few nights stay.

There was construction and remodeling in the building, but it did not affect us very much. The staff was lovely, our room was lovely. The location is wonderful as long as you are OK to walk up a small hill. The staff is friendly, kind, and helpful. The nice thing about the hotel is that you can take the elevator to the pool level, and have easy access to the CA Coastal Trail. It's also nice to be near the Urth Caffè and the Art Museum. The place is going to be gorgeous after the renovation, but we had a wonderful time even with the construction.

Disappointed
The hotel was going through construction renovations. Should not have been open given the level of services not available. Beautiful view and location but …. We paid top dollar to visit and learned upon arrival that they were offering same room at 1/3 price to pull people in. Offered us a bottle of wine for inconvenience and then failed to deliver. Told we would hear from manager about experience then failed to deliver. Essentially an afterthought. Believe there is a pool but never saw it. Bottom line, could have communicated issues and helped to navigate limitations but did not. Will not return. On the other hand, love Laguna so recommend you visit town.
