Amazing apartment for snorkling
Amazing Caribbean stay and a joy to be self catering after a long trip of hotel stays. Our apartment had the Mountain View from our living room but we had drinks in the shade facing the sea each day. A short walk to playa Lagun where we snorkelled each day and beered each evening. The food at the beach bar looked amazing but you need to reserve a table or take it away. Our lovely host did everything to make our stay enjoyable down to supermarket shop for fruit, veggies and soya milk as we didnā€™t have a car. I hadnā€™t realised before booking but the west coast has the best snorkelling. Take de-fogger. We also caught sight of a pod of dolphins from the apartment on our last day.

Inmejorable relaciĆ³n precio-calidad. Los apartamentos tienen una ubicaciĆ³n estratĆ©gica por la cercanĆ­a a las mejores playas de Curazao. Son cĆ³modos, espaciosos, limpios y muy bien provistos para una cĆ³moda estadĆ­a. Estuvimos allĆ­ hace un aƱo y medio y regresamos al mismo lugar porque es el mejor en la zona de Lagun. Por la poca diferencia de tarifa, son muy convenientes los apartamentos que tienen vista al mar. Shadfort es un excelente anfitriĆ³n, muy atento a cualquier necesidad que pueda surgir y siempre atento para hacer mĆ”s agradable la estadĆ­a. Muy agradecido por todo!

The personal, friendly service from Shadforth and Miss Sonia made our stay special. The location worked for us even without a car as My Dream is situated 8 minutes walk from two nice beaches, one with freshly caught fish available to buy around mid-day, a dive shop and two bars/restaurants. There is also Bon Bimi Chinese takeout and a little drinks shop in the village a few minutes walk away. There are lost of bus stops and buses running to Willemstad and places along the route perhaps every hour, the 3A up to Knip and 7A to West Punt but we didn't actually master the timetable. The Plantation museum is a 1 k walk. You do need to do a big supermarket shop in town before you arrive as local supermarkets are a drive away and very low on fresh fruit and veg. We took a taxi from the cruise ship terminal having arrived by ship and were severely overcharged for a quick supermarket trip and the ride to Lagun, $130 US when it should have been about 8o; the airport is around 60 so be careful. Our host might be able to help. The kitchen worked well for us self-catering with a big fridge freezer. The local restaurants are nothing special so you may as well eat at My Dream and enjoy the sunsets. Local roads are very quiet and well lit if you want to take a stroll and have a drink out. Our apartment had a big bedroom with two doubles (and a single, good for people with kids?) A totally relaxing place. Enjoy the light on the sea, glimpses of jumping tuna and fishing pelicans, the iguanas.

We loved everything about My Dream Apts. Chadwick was very friendly and available should we have any questions or need anything. The location is perfect for a quieter time on the island. It was not possible to watch TV, as it seens reception on almost every channel was not clear or available. But wifi seemed to work great. We will definitely be back!!

Great stay in Curacao
Great place to stay right in front of the ocean. Close proximity to shore dive sites and some of the best beaches in Curacao. This is our second stay at My Dream Apartments and we plan to return.

Beautiful place
We stayed in this apartment for one week in the end of August, just before our normal( read crazy), stressful, busy live has resumed. Every morning we woke up to a jentle swishing sound of the ocean waves , every night we had a peaceful meal on our balcony, facing the sun slowly coming down to the horizon. Our son, 9 years video game attached boy, spend most of his non-beach time playing with iguana family, graciously allowing us to observe their unhurried sun soaked life. There is beautiful , non- touristy Lagun beach just 2 min drive or 8 min walk from the apartment . We spend hours snorkelling off shore. We saw parrot fish, scorpion fish , turtles, squids, porcupine fish, octopus just to name a few . Special thank you to the apartment owner Sonia. She made us feel as we came to visit our beloved aunt.

Amazing view, excellent location to relax far from main resort area and the city, close to great beaches and dive sites. Owners are very nice and always available. We would go again without hesitation!

Amazing View!
Good host, AMAZING VIEW! Really just unbelievable view. Snorkeling was decent right off the balcony (down a ladder). Management is very friendly, accommodating and helpful with suggestions of places to go. Great location away from the city and close to many good snorkeling spots. Must have car! The room could get a bit warm and needs some updating but was nicely done. Would stay here again.

Nice quiet, small town/countryside location
Great location, away from congested areas of Willemstad. These apartments are located about 10m/30ft above the ocean with jumping/diving possible. There are stairs half way down to the ocean where you can jump from or take the ladder down to the water. There is also a beach, Playa Lagun, walking distance away, (about 1km). Playa Jeremi is even closer, but it is isolated and prone to thefts. Both the beach, and ocean in front of the apts are great for snorkelling. The city bus stop is right in front of the hotel so you can get by without a car. We rented a car on the first and last days to get to/from the airport and cruise ship terminal. Load up with groceries/drinks in town for your stay since there is no large grocery store nearby. Take the bus back into the city for car drop off/pick up if you choose to save money during your stay. We stayed 9 nights and enjoyed a whole week relaxing without the need to drive every day. Our hosts were very friendly and looked after all of our requests.

Great place to stay! This place is perfect for people who aren't interested in resorts and/or looking for a good deal.If you want to be in the city or among other people, look elsewhere. But if you want a pretty secluded experience with an awesome view and direct access to the ocean and snorkeling, this is great. It would be great for a small family or a couple looking for autonomy, with a full kitchen available. This is very close to all the best snorkeling/outdoor adventures in the island. From the apartments, you can make a (long) snorkel over to one of the best snorkeling bays (Lagun). We stayed in three places on the island and this was by far the best. At night we had wine on our porch and watched the sunset, and woke up early the next morning by jumping in the ocean and snorkeling. I would recommend upgrading to ocean view, though you can also just walk to the picnic tables over looking the water. This is not a luxury apartment obviously, go to a resort for that. This is an comfortable apartment for those that prioritize views, access, autonomy, and seclusion over hokey resorts. Also, you are far from any substantial stores here, so buy food before leaving Willemstad. There are tourist oriented restaurants in walking distance. Overall, highly recommend and I would love to come back.

Great stay, only guests at the time so had it all to ourselves and had great service from the owners. Great location on the water. We got the bus from the airport to otrabanda and then to Lagun/knip which stopped just down from the apartment.owner was also able to organise a rental car for us.

O apartamento Ć© bem amplo, com sala, cozinha equipada, banheiro e quarto, alĆ©m da varanda (Ocean View). FaƧa uma boa compra de itens de supermercado e utilize a cozinha para preparar refeiƧƵes. Tomar cafĆ©, almoƧar ou jantar na varanda Ć© um espetĆ”culo. A cor do mar Ć© impressionante. Tem uma escada que dĆ” acesso ao mar para fazer snorkeling. Ɖ muito bem localizado para visitar as praias PiskadĆ³, Kalki, Kenepa Grandi, Kenepa Chiki, Jeremi, Lagun, Cas Abao, Porto Marie. A regiĆ£o de Lagun fica distante 50 min do centro de Willemstad, e quase nĆ£o tem comĆ©rcio por perto, entĆ£o leve tudo que puder, e deixe para comprar itens que acabarem nos mercadinhos dos chineses. Avalie a locaĆ§Ć£o de um carro com o Marcos Roberto da BRIO Car Rental, pois facilita demais o deslocamento pela ilha, alĆ©m dele dar vĆ”rias dicas do trĆ¢nsito local. O proprietĆ”rio do My Dreams Apartments Ć© o Shadforth. Uma Ć³tima pessoa e que estĆ” sempre disposto a ajudar com orientaƧƵes ou dando algum suporte.

Fantastische lokatie op een plek boven de oceaan. Ladder was helaas nog niet gerepareerd, zodat zwemmen in zee onderaan het appartement niet mogelijk was.

My Dream Apartments es un alojamiento excelente: cĆ³modo, espacioso, con todo lo necesario para una agradable estadĆ­a en Curazao. La cama es grande, confortable y las sabanas limpias. La cocina estĆ” equipada con todo lo necesario: hornallas, microondas, cafetera, jarra de agua caliente, una heladera grande y variados enseres de cocina. El balcĆ³n con vista al mar justifica pagar la diferencia de precio respecto de los apartamentos que tienen vista a la montaƱa. La casa dispone de sillones, ventilador, barbacoa, mesa y sillas para cuatro personas. El aire acondicionado, wifi, tv y ducha de agua caliente funcionaron a la perfecciĆ³n. EstĆ” ubicado muy cerca de las mejores playas de Curazao, con fantĆ”sticos arrecifes para practicar snorquel o buceo. Es una zona muy segura y tranquila que queda a unos 30 km del aeropuerto. Imprescindible contar con movilidad propia ya que hay escasos medios de transporte hasta el lugar. Hay buen espacio de estacionamiento en el complejo y mucha privacidad en cada casa (SĆ³lo 8 apartamentos). Shadford es un super anfitriĆ³n, una persona amable, prĆ”ctica y resolutiva que nos brindĆ³ excelentes consejos y nos facilitĆ³ el contacto para alquilar un auto a un precio muy conveniente (TambiĆ©n recomiendo los servicios de Lindomar, a cargo de este servicio). No tuvimos ningĆŗn inconveniente durante toda la estadĆ­a. El proceso de comunicaciĆ³n fue excelente. Muchas gracias Shadford por la calidad de sus atenciones, OjalĆ” podamos volver pronto a tu paraĆ­so tropical.
