Nice resort to unwind and relax. There is no shopping or much to see like in Lisbon so it is a great way to spend 3 or 4 days to end a trip. The resort is lush but very expensive and there are many lush resorts much closer to the states that offered much more. Breakfast buffet is one of the best in the world and I travel world wide. My room was 1700 sf with 2 bedrooms and 3 baths, the most expensive offered. Housekeeping was good but not great. Check in is slow. And it has a strong time share sales feel to it. The property is large and you tour it in a golf car, they push tours as well. No one greeted us upon arrival. So staffing is a little weak and service at any of the dining areas was slow. You have to hunt people down. It is a little too zen and no one really talks to each other. There are 4 pools all salt water, only one is heated. There is a private beach but off the 4 days all 4 had yellow flags with an afternoon that was green so you could swim. Water was cold and a lot of seaweed. I liked the gym and they have a great spa with wet and dry sauna as well as ice bath and ice shaven bath if you are brave to do it. I love it and you feel great. Nice playground area for little kids. Cool hiking paths along the cliffs. So I would rate this 8 out of 10. There are much better resorts that check more boxes than this one I. The Caribbean, Hawaii and Mexico. But if you really want to see the Agarve and time in Portugal I would say it is a nice place

Gorgeous property located on beautiful part of the beach. Staff all extremely friendly and helpful, front check in all the way to check out. Every restaurant had kind service and delicious food. Highly recommend!

We loved this resort! We had a Junior Suite garden view and it was beautifully decorated and situated. Spacious and very comfy beds. The reception team were wonderful, especially Andrea for giving us the welcome tour. The resort is beautiful, gardens well maintained, lovely spa and a spacious gym. Pools were lovely as well. Unfortunately one waiter was a bit grumpy on the first night, but everything else was perfect. Highly recommend!!

Property was large so it was hard to access and see the ocean. Indoor pool/spa was only accessible to those who paid for a treatment. All classes were extra money. Resort is isolated so dining limited to hotel. Had to uber long distances to get to attractions in the area/cliffs/hikes. Wasps everywhere on property so hard to relax and enjoy pool, breakfast outside or beach. For price point wish we had selected elsewhere.

We had a fantastic stay for our baby moon! -Room was very large and clean. Beautiful balcony. We didn’t use the tub, but it was pretty and there was a large shower with his and her shower heads. Lots of squishy or firm pillows. -Stunning views and gardens wherever you look! -Breakfast was amazing! It ends at 10:30am, but if you come near the closing time, they have absolutely everything still there. -we ate at the Coral restaurant which was fantastic and upscale. We also went twice to the Italian restaurant and could have gone every night - both were incredible! -the beach is gorgeous and there are kayaks and paddle boards for rental down at the beach. Beautiful chair and umbrella set up! Other reviews state that there are not enough chairs, however, if you don’t see one open, just ask the beach attendant and he will get an umbrella and a chair for you, so this is not an issue. -All of the staff at reception, the spa, the beach, and all the restaurants were amazing and very friendly, always in a great mood and making us feel welcome. A special thank you to Sandea for being so welcoming and kind. -I had a maternity massage at the spa and had Maria. It was amazing and I would highly recommend it!

This is an outstanding hotel, with great customer service. For example, I said I liked the tea at breakfast - and I then had (without asking) a gift of tea sent to my room by hotel management. Absolutely outstanding! The one minor development is I was there with my 14 year old son. He wasn’t allowed anywhere near the indoor pool. This policy needs a rethink.
