This is a lovely, old and authentically furnished, family house, with wonderful views over the sea and the countryside and a huge garden with many nooks and crannies. There is a lot of space and the owners provide everything that you might need for a comfortable stay, including a well-equipped kitchen, copious hot water, wifi and firewood. The owners met us on site to show us around and were very chatty and helpful and also provided some basic foods for our arrival, which we much appreciated. The house is in an excellent spot for touring the island; quiet but also close enough to Lagoa to collect supplies or eat out. Given that we visited in the winter, we also found out that the house is probably in one of the warmest and most sheltered areas of the island! We would thoroughly recommend the Casa.

We loved this house. Location was rural but only 10 mins to Ponta Delgada. The views across the cornfield to the ocean....amazing. The kithen was well-equipped with everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. Our host was quick to respond with any queries. If we were to return to Sao Miguel we would definitely co sider this house again.

Authentic farmhouse with stunning views but in dire need of an update

This lovely old farmhouse is situated in a picturesque location and offers plenty of space and breathtaking views. However, the property is desperately in need of a full renovation. The mattresses are uncomfortable, the bathroom is outdated, and the kitchen equipment is worn and in some cases dirty. We still enjoyed our stay, but we opted not to cook during our time there. The key collection process was also quite an ordeal. After a tiring 22-hour journey, having to navigate through the entire town to pick up the keys, which were miles away from the property and not even on the route, was quite frustrating. Overall, we would recommend this property to anyone seeking an authentic farmhouse experience in a beautiful location. However, it's important to be aware that the property is in need of some serious TLC and that the key collection process could be improved.

Typisch azorisches Landhaus

Wir haben ein altes, typisches azorisches Landhaus erwartet und es auch bekommen. Die Ausstattung war entsprechend. Wer Luxus und Komfort erwartet, wird enttäuscht. Wer aber die typisch ländliche Atmosphäre in einem idyllisch gelegener Umgebung sucht, der fühlt sich hier wohl. Der das Haus umgebende Garten ist schon alleine ein Erlebnis. Die Aussicht auf den Atlantik und Ponta Delgada ist super, und wenn man dann noch einen Sonnenuntergang bei entsprechendem Wetter geniessen kann - perfekt.Vor allem die Betreuung durch Maria Joao ist hervorragend. Sie kümmert sich schnell und gibt Ratschläge und Informationen.

Dieser magische Ort hat uns verzaubert 😍

Geräumiges, uriges altes Bauernhaus mit tollem Blick aufs Meer, den Sonnenuntergang und den Sternenhimmel. Neben einem gepflegten Garten gibt es einen geniales angrenzenden Dschungel aus gigantischen alten Bäumen, Palmen und Bambus. Super nette , unkomplizierte und hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Pfauen und Hühner kommen zu Besuch

Séjour de 4 jours en famille

La propriétaire est agréable. Le jardin est magnifique. La terrasse avec la vue sur la mer la Ponta Delgada est appréciable. Il n'y avait malheureusement pas de chaises longues pour se reposer sur la terrasse. Nous avons été déçus par la maison qui manque de confort. Les pièces sont très sombres, en particulier quand il n'y a pas de soleil. L'électricité aurait besoin d'être amélioré. La salle de bains est très vieille : très faible débit d'eau, sanitaires très anciens...

Beautiful country house not only for garden lovers.

The nostalgic and tastefully furnished property is located in a park-like garden. The special feature is an aboretum with a jungle character that was created generations ago. The terrace of the house has an unobstructed sea view. The location is ideal for exploring the area. We really enjoyed our vacation here.

Tolles, altes Haus mit viel Atmosphäre

Wir durften in einem tollen, alten azoreanischen Haus mit authentischer Einrichtung wohnen. Das Haus liegt alleine in einem riesigen Garten, der erkundet werden will. Von der Terrasse aus sieht man das Meer - in einiger Entfernung Ponta Delgada. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.

Charmantes Haus mit wunderschönem großem Garten

Terrasse mit Meerblick und der Garten sind wirklich ein außergewöhnliches Highlight. Hier hat man seine Ruhe und kann komplett entspannen.
