I booked this room based on reviews. They were overall good.
Check in was quick, lobby was clean. Once in the room, I noticed stains all over both beds. I had to leave quickly so did not notice other issues. We requested new bedding.
When I returned, the bedding they gave was only sheets so we requested a blanket again. We took them out and they were also stained. Yellow stains, dark brown, and blue, but not like ink. Looked fresh. Party started by the pool. Adults drinking and blaring music. Then, I see water dripping from the ceiling of the bathroom. Not from a vent. A puddle was on the floor.
We asked to be moved.
She said she cant move us, they are full. No manager on duty. She called her manager but no answer. They would be in at 8:30am.
I asked about the leaking ceiling. She said its probably from the bathroom above us. As if that is normal and acceptable. I asked can we leave and get a refund. We were told no. I asked for a mop at least. She gave us a pile of towels for the dripping bathroom water from the floor above. That was the solution. I just went to bed because we had an event early as well.
No shower because it was still dripping.
Next morning, went to the front, grabbed an egg, which was still frozen, and looked for anyone at the front. Never saw anyone. We left at 9:30am. We contacted Expedia and they were so helpful but, at the time of typing, did not come to a resolution either. Hopefully something will be done. Do not stay here if you want hospitality.
