A charming two-story accommodationlocated in the heritage district in the heart of Lac-Mégantic. The accommodation, situated in a century-old triplex, is completely independent with direct access and a shared courtyard. The accommodation is fully equipped, and even coffee is included!
The accommodation is located very close to the beautiful Veterans Park and Lake Mégantic, within walking distance of all services. You will have the entire accommodation to yourself. You will also have access to a small shared outdoor courtyard with tables and umbrellas. As a bonus, herbs, haskaps and grapes will be available to you (in season) outside. At the end of the street, a short walk away, you can access the water for swimming and launching your watercraft; kayak, paddleboards, canoe, etc.
For cycling enthusiasts, the bike path passes in front of the apartment. You will have a tool kit for minor repairs and a pump to inflate your tires at your disposal. We are accredited as a cyclist-friendly establishment (Bienvenue cyclistes!). In winter, there are cross-country ski trails nearby, activities on the lake, and mountain hikes.
The town of Lac-Mégantic is located in an International Dark Sky Reserve, near two national parks; Mont-Mégantic and Frontenac.The region is also renowned for its bodies of water, lakes and mountains.

A home away from home
From the moment we walked in to The Loft, we felt 'at home'. We loved our stay! Delightfully decorated, very clean, very comfortable, providing an atmosphere of peace, restfulness and charm. Everything was provided for our stay including natural products complementing the goal of supporting the environment, sustainability and local/regional business, in concert with the town's vision of renewal, slowing down the pace of life and living in harmony with nature. The Loft is in a perfect location for our many walk around the town, through the parks, and along the lake. We congratulate the hosts' vision of hospitality and their achievement of their goal. We loved our stay with our pet and would definitely return.
