Andre and Nicholas are amazing hosts, the room(s) - we stayed on two occasions, on our way to our friends and on the way back- are exquisitely furnished, excellent facilities, superb breakfasts and just a truly amazing place to be.
Slightly off the beaten track which is a benefit in itself, so quiet and amazing stars at night. Andre booked us a table at a local restaurant and that was excellent as well.
Absolutely no hesitation in saying it was one of the best overnight stays we have ever had and we'll be sure to visit again when we are in the area.
My husband & I spent the weekend at Chateau du Mesnil, and are already planning our next escape there. The Chateau is impeccably clean and the atmosphere is very relaxing. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, kind and informative re. restaurants and local sightseeing etc.
The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
A memorable weekend to just switch off and relax in the countryside.
We booked here as we wanted to experience the "Chateau" life and we were not disappointed. As we arrived, Andre informed us that bees were above our booked room and so we had to use the Junior Suite. It was the best room we have stayed in, it had everything anyone would need. The pool was not available but Andre had the hot tub ready and was very nice. The breakfast was in the main chateau and was all very good and fresh, the ham omelette was super. As we tried to chat in our best French, Andre told us a little about the chateau, the area and famous past guests. It was a pleasure to visit Chateau Mesnil. Please note it is very rural and quiet and did take a little while to find but well worth staying there. We recommend it hugely. Merci beaucoup Andre.
The chateau was truly the best stop of our week in France! The setting was magnificent, the room and shower were excellent even after the 40 steps up the tower . Other rooms were lower of course. The breakfast again was excellent again the best of the week and certainly more than we could eat. My wife's food allergy was evan catered for with Gluten free bread.
Excellent!
Piscine, jacuzzi, parc.... Que demander de plus.
Most amazing place I have ever been, Andre and Nicola are the perfect hosts. We will soon go again, it will for sure be our new go-to place. Loving all about it
Zeer nette B&B; prachtig ingericht, heel klassiek. Uitgebreid ontbijt, zeer schone kamers/badkamers.
Donc, on recommande !
