Confirmed reservation not honored
We reserved, paid for, and had confirmed a two night stay at this property. When we arrived, the host/property owner shared that the property had been double booked and that we would be able to stay in the apartment the second night only. They did provide another property for the first night instead. It was not as nice, it was not as spacious, and no expansive terrace with the beautiful view. We also then had to move to the new apartment after the first night which took time out of our vacation. When we asked for compensation for the mistake the owner offered us 20 euro stating that we were put up in a property of equal value so they did not owe us more than that. They obviously knew this double booking had occurred but did not let us k ow until we arrived. We had reached out the day before to confirm check in procedure but they did not respond and then claimed they had sent the directions. Beautiful apartment but dishonest property manager/owner.
