Great location (next to Kyoto station) and friendly staff. Would stay again for the location. Made it easy for us to take trips to Osaka, Nara, and others places nearby. Room and breakfast was just okay. I would skip purchasing the breakfast next time. We ended up going to restaurants nearby for more variety of options vs eating at the hotel.

Great hotel in Kyoto!
We enjoyed our stay very much at Mitsui Garden Hotel. The front desk staff was super helpful and friendly, helping us with our sightseeing plans, luggage shipping to Tokyo, and more. The room was spacious, everything was very clean, and the bathroom and amenities were great. We definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers and appreciate the kindness of the staff!

A great place to stay when you don't have a lot of time in Kyoto. Only a 2 minute walk from the train station, buses and taxis. The rooms were quiet and very comfortable and roomy and the staff sweet. We were very happy with our one night there before heading back to the states.

Visiting Kyoto for the first time, the location of the property couldn’t be better! Being right next to the train station makes it accessible and also a great spot to stay and move around other cities close by to visit and sightsee.
