This hotel was gorgeous and had some many wonderful amenities. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the cafe in the lobby was fantastic. It is also very central in Kyoto and very close to public transit. My only complaint is that the room was very small and there was barely any space for my partner and I to comfortably open our luggage.

Comfortable & clean hotel with an included spa
Amazing hotel breakfast with plenty of Japanese and Western options - something for everyone. The room was small but efficient and had everything we needed. We loved the public spa on the ground floor that was included with our stay. A relaxing way to end each day!

Beautiful hotel, conveniently located within walking distance to Nishiki market, Gion and major shopping areas. Great breakfast. Rooms,especially the bathroom was small. Rooms are only serviced once every 3 days, but clean towels and bottled water are provided daily via a tote bag left hanging on your door. It wasn’t a problem for us, but I thought it was worth a mention.

Everything was lovely—room with table so ate breakfast there, public bath daily, helpful front desk (some English speaking). Well designed. Cafe. Central Tokyo. Does require taxi to train station (about 2200 yen) that hotel arranged. Shops and subway near.

Located halfway between 2 different subway lines, hotel is very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. There is a bath house on site available only to hotel guests, which was lovely. Room size was great for 2 people, though not much storage space for luggage (but that is common for most Japanese hotels). They also had a free meet and greet with a real Maiko while we were there! Would definitely stay here again.
