Really enjoyed our stay with Cross Hotel. It is very welcoming.. the reception area smells nice, the staff very polite and helpful, the rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was something to look forward to - many quality options to choose from.

This hotel was so convenient and easy to get to every tourist attraction. The area around the hotel was bustling and had so many food, shopping and entertainment options. A quick walk to the Nishiki Market. The hotel is clean and trendy as well. I’m glad I chose this hotel.

Stayed there for a week. Kyoto is just amazing and the location was perfect for us visiting as a family. The only hiccup we had was bad advice from staff when trying to make collect calls for travel rearrangements due to a typhoon. We followed the procedure and they ended up charging us at a high rate although we made collect calls. Explaining the situation to the staff in charge did not help and was quite rude insisting that the hotel was not making collect calls. It was likely a communication breakdown. Still enjoyed the comfort, convenience, location, and overall experience.

The Cross hotel is a great hotel with a great location in Kyoto. Rooms are spacious. Hotel is clean and staff was wonderful! We stayed for 3 days during our trip to Japan and would stay again!

What a fantastic stay. Hotel was super clean and conveniently located near the Pontosho Alley restaurant street and easy (less than 10 minute) walk to the Gion Historical area and Nishiki food market. Beds were very comfortable but only one thin pillow was provided by the hotel.

Large comfortable, clean and quiet rooms. In a good location, walking distance to lots of attractions and good food places close by. The staff were incredibly helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, they were so kind and very helpful with any request we had. We highly recommend for any stay in Kyoto!

Our stay at Cross Hotel Kyoto was amazing! it was such a great location - for restaurants, shopping and bars. You do need to take a taxi to see the sights or to the train station but it's the perfect location to come back to after you are done with any sightseeing you wish to do. Mostly everything you would like to do other than that is either walking distance or a short cab ride away! Staff was also very helpful - i left something in my room and it was shipped to our next hotel in Tokyo in under two days!

The staff here were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. And the breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve experienced during international travel in Japan. Highly recommended.
