The Jameson Cabin at Blanco River Lodges awaits! Are you looking for a comforting retreat, far from the noise, but close enough to the activities surrounding Kyle (3 miles), Wimberley (15 miles), Austin (20 miles), and New Braunfels (25 miles)? Come enjoy our spacious, 9-acre property overlooking the majestic Blanco River. Our property includes 420 feet of private river frontage, a beautiful view of the Texas Hill Country, and a spacious lawn to enjoy the outdoors.

This owner-managed listing is for The Jameson, which is cozy, clean, and perfect for couples or small groups of friends. Sleeps up to 5 guests. One of four cabins and one larger home on our property. See the bottom of the listing for links to our other cabins or message information for booking all of our cabins.

The cabin includes:

The spacious living room and kitchen provide ample space for preparation and cooking while conversating with family or friends on the cozy couch! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need to prepare and serve your home-cooked meals.

If you want to sit on the outdoor patio and enjoy a nice cup of coffee or watch the sunset, you can sit on the shaded patio with one of four chairs and a bench seat. You have the option to use our propane grill, eat at the outdoor table or enjoy the table in the A/C inside.

It was a beautiful place, we had the property all to ourselves and just got to be in nature. The river is a bit dried out due to environmental changes in the area, so it wasn’t the best human swimming hole, but the dogs still loved it. Host was communicative and responsive.

Wonderful place!
Loved this property! Close to town, but its location is very secluded and peaceful. The river is in walking distance, but an easy drive if you have stuff to carry. Parts of the river are shallow enough for young children, but it also has deep swimming holes. Also, the steps to the river make it easily accessible for people who have difficulty climbing steep steps. The house was very cute and very clean. We will definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at this little cottage - what a relaxing atmosphere and view. Everything was clean and check in was easy. Was just beautiful and would def go again. Our only complaint was that, I do agree with some reviews that amenities provided are a little limited. I realize that they don’t want to leave a whole package of dishwasher pods as people may take them - but they only left 3 pods for for a 3 night stay with 4 adults and also only 2 rolls of toilet paper. So it was annoying to have to go to Walgreens and pick them up half way through the stay- esp as they require you to put the dishwasher on as part of the leaving requirements.

Thanksgiving Stay
This was the perfect place to stay to visit with our family. The property was clean and peaceful. The river was beautiful and we loved watching the deer. It was the perfect retreat after visiting with family in Austin & San Antonio and the proximity to the highway and town was great. We will definitely stay here again.
