Hotel is right outside the monorail station and close to some great bars and cafés/restaurants as well as the market and China town.
Check in was great! The receptionist was very smiley and friendly, and our room was ready when we arrived so we were able to check in early. You need to get someone's attention at reception on the 1st floor to get buzzed in, which is kinda annoying though. Breakfast was just white bread/toast with butter/jam/peanut butter and good strong coffee, so definitely not "English breakfast"!
They had two beautiful cats, but I'm allergic and they walked all over the furniture and tables so that made being on the ground floor difficult.
You're not allowed wear shoes inside, which was also annoying because the floor wasn't clean. Room was clean and there was shampoo and nice body lotion but no soap and very little tissue paper. The TV had no channels and there were very few plugs, however there was a travel adapter and a USB plug. Really good value, would highly recommend to travellers on a budget
