Very happy with my stay here. The location was excellent for me-right across from the central train station which meant not having to carry luggage around very far. There is also a tram stop across the street if you prefer to get around that way. Very walkable to the old town, perhaps 15-30 minutes.
I had a room on the front/street side. While there was a lot of noise during the day with the trams and other traffic, it was quieter at night and I had no difficulties sleeping. The room did get quite cool when I was gone all day but i was not bothered by it.
The shower smelled rather like sauerkraut when I first got there but the smell went away once I ran the water. It was back by the next afternoon but again, was gone once I ran some water. Perhaps a trap was not staying full and some sewer gas was escaping? Noticeable a few times but not a major issue. The shower had the best water pressure I have ever seen and I could have taken 12 showers a day.
Room was clean. Breakfast was good with cereals, eggs, sausages, cheeses, meats, breads, salads (like egg salad and mayonnaise-based salads,) cucumbers, tomatoes, apoles and some deserts.
No fridge in the room, which might matter to some people.
I would absolutely stay again.
