We arrived just before 11pm,the reception was in darkness, but two lovely girls soon appeared and helped us with our cases. All chalets are up quite steep steps,so a degree of fitness is required. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and could not be faulted in any way. Our room was cleaned every day, and we had different towels for the bathroom, the pool, and the beach. Breakfast was good with a choice of eggs, and fruit, cereal, juice, and a rice or noodle dish, along wth toast and different Thai sweet dishes.
At night there was a big selection of fresh fish to choose from, which could be cooked as you requested.
The beach was clean, although a bit rocky in places, and there are sun beds and umbrellas.
Once out of the hotel there are a few little shops, and cafes, and a 7/11.
There are also a couple of tuktuks for hire, or you can go on boat trips, or walk along the beach to a couple of other bars and restaurants. This is the quiet end of the island, which is perfect if you don't want to be in a busy noisy place
