It's difficult to summarize concisely everything that went wrong. I will have to email someone a full explanation of what happened. Suffice it to say, the hotel was unsafe, dirty, unhygienic, and in disrepair.

There was bed bugs in the first room we were given. We asked for a refund so we could go elsewhere and we're told the only thing they could do was to give us a different room. Checked the room prior to accepting it and there weren't any bugs that we saw, but that doesn't mean they aren't there. Breakfast was just a honeybun, apple, and apple juice.

The staff was attentive and welcoming. We stayed for 4 nights and housekeeping brought us fresh towels each day. The only downside was the pool was covered. It looks like it hasn’t been operable for a long time. We were bummed about that but the room itself was fine. The tv worked, the shower worked, the beds were comfortable, and juice/coffee, breakfast bars, and fresh apples were available for breakfast every morning.

When we opened the door the cockroaches scattered. There was food stains on the bed and they looked pretty fresh. The refrigerator was warm, stinky and moldy. We didn’t stay.

It was a dope house. I literally found a used needle in my room. I went to plug my phone charger in to the wall and the plug outlet was hanging out with exposed copper. Total dump. Shower was hot.
