The space
SKI_IN Family Escape is all about space and location. This unit is filled w/ everything a family could need. Full size kitchen w/ counter space and dining table to have the whole family enjoy a meal after a long day on the slopes. Great wood burning fireplace w/ unlimited amount of wood as well as radiant heat will keep the family warm and cozy all night.

The studio is about 220 yards to the Kirkwood Village main mountain access, a short walk to the lifts and you can ski-in right to the front door of the building from chair 6 or chair 7.
There are also groomed cross-country skiing trails right out the back door of the building.
The free Kirkwood shuttle picks up in front of the building giving you transportation to the Kirkwood General Store, Kirkwood Village (Chair 6, 10&11) &Timber Creek, the beginner learning area (chair 7 and Bunny).
Ski right in drop your gear in your assigned locker, while your there tune up the gear @ the waxing station if needed. Then stroll upstairs to your unit and enjoy a meal w/ the family or play a game stored in the closet, better yet head downstairs to the hot tub for a soak. Hot tub is located in a large great room with two-sided fireplace, large tables and super comfy chairs to relax in... perfect for entertaining guests.
SKI-IN Family Escape is equipped w/ one queen bed, plush bedding, full size futon w/ all the bedding needed, 2 twins just perfect for the young ones. Full kitchen w/ everything a chef could need to make a fabulous meal as wel as a gas grill on the private deck. We supply tea, coffee, sugar & creamer and some basic seasonings + cooking oils.
Entertainment needs: 2 Smart Tvs logged in w/ YouTube Tv. High Speed Wi-Fi Capable of Hosting Multiple Video Calls & Streaming Needs plus good old fashion games for family fun.
When visiting you will have private underground parking available for one car/truck. Which means no shoveling snow off your car after shredding powder all day! You will also have access to a full-size ski locker w/ lock to keep all your equipment safe and dry. Lockers are conveniently located at the main level entrance of the building.
Early/Late check in/out policy:
When we can accommodate, an early or late check out can be made available for a $50 fee. The reason we charge this fee is because Kirkwood has the highest utility costs in the country.
Explanation of $205 cleaning fee: Due to Covid 19 we are taking extra precautionary measure to insure a safe and clean stay for our guest. This is extra time and care going into the process of cleaning our units. All linens are washed including blankets and duvets. Clean & disinfect all surfaces including light switches & doorknobs. We have all our linens professionally washed. This unit has 5 beds and the linens cost us $57.00 to wash. If you are staying in this unit and do not plan on using all the beds, let us know ahead of time and we will be happy to credit some money back if less linens are used at check out. Please know that we are indeed taking all the necessary steps to keep us all safe.
Guest access
As a guest of The Meadows, you are allowed access to the Great Room, Ski Lockers, Hot Tub ***Not During COVID19, Cross Country Ski Trails.
Other things to note
PLEASE NOTE: Radiant heat to the building will be shut off during the spring and summer months. Your heat source is the wood burning fireplace. All wood is stocked and supplied as well as Firestarter's.
Also be courteous of others and maintain a 6' social distance. Wear a face covering at all times inside the common areas ie. hallways, elevator and great room. This is very important to help us stay operating.
