Bathroom was high spec but shower tray extremely slippery, no option of non slip mat.
Breakfast plates were cold so food cooled down very quickly. Side plate knife was dirty.
Nice hotel, good menu choice with ok breakfast although b/fast @ £14 was perhaps a little steep. Easy parking and quiet location. Staff friendly and welcoming.
Last minute booking this was but came recommended from friends who had stayed here previously. Excellent customer service from when we checked in (friendly and helpful staff) and the gentleman who went above and beyond to pour us a pint and drinks at 11pm when the bar was closed (he didn't have to). Room was brilliant; clean; very good size and spacious.

Room spacious and clean. However terrible noises all through the night coming from the bathroom shower drain- sounded like water was coming through the ceiling for two hours so not a good nights sleep. Could hear lots of noise from other rooms as well. A shame as room was lovely.
If this hotel has not just opened it certainly appeared that way. The room and service were of a high standard and quality. Some minor problems could have been better: only 2 teabags in the room ( but it was Yorkshire tea!), no shelf or hooks in the shower room and annoyingly the tv sound and picture was distorted.
However we would definitely use this hotel again.
Our stay on the whole was good. Room was clean and staff were polite. Only downside was two fold- none of the EV chargers worked and we have a fully electric car! And we left a phone charger in the room which was never found. We rang back and staff said there was nothing in the lost property. Double check your rooms on leaving people- it’s easily done though!
