Great view
Stayed for 1 week when my work trip in the area was unexpectedly prolonged by a week. The property is nice, and has all of the amenities needed for a week stay. It was overall clean, comfortable, and quiet. There is a nice paved trail along the lake shore if you want to get out and get some exercise. My only recommendation for the property owners would be to make mention to whoever cleans between guests to check all cabinets and drawers and wipe them out as it doesnt look like it gets done frequently. Also, have them wipe down higher surfaces like the top of the refrigerator, and the window sills. Some of us are tall enough to see up there! 😆. I have lived around rivers and lakes my whole life, so i understand the presence of mosquitos, flys, etc by the water, but the dead insects on the window sils should be part of the normal cleaning process between guests. I'd also recommend either adding a light under the carport or repairing the existing light out there so guests can see better in the driveway. Since i was in the area for work, (electrician) i was driving a full size cargo van with a ladder rack on top, so i had to be very mindfull when backing in to not hit the overhang of the carport. I could have not backed in, but it is a busy road to try to back out on when leaving. If staying more than a day or two, a small vacuum would be nice to have, or at the very least, a better broom and dust pan than what is currently available. I would definitely book again!
