As you wind up the driveway to Buffalo Home Cabin, you immediately get that cabin-in-the-woods cozy feeling. The wrap around porch expands your living area and gives plenty of places to enjoy nature around you. If you sit outside in the morning, a flock of turkeys may visit you as you drink your provided cup of coffee. Inside, a well equipped kitchen awaits with plenty of dishes, utensils, cooking items, spices, and serving plates to accommodate 8 people easily. Before you turn in for the night, use the blender to make a cool cocktail on a warm evening. The property sleeps 8 in beds. Each bedroom is equipped with a sound machine, ceiling fan, a clock, and memory foam beds. Downstairs, two bedrooms with queen beds share a hallway bathroom with a separate shower and tub. The antique styling will help keep that cabin feeling. A washer and dryer are available in the downstairs bathroom along with soap for your convenience after a day at the lake. Check in the log bedroom for beach towels and toys for your use. Upstairs the family bedroom holds a king bed and two twins. The separate hallway master bathroom has a stand-alone shower and a jetted tub. For extra sleeping (at an extra charge), there is a fold out bed in the upstairs loft. The living areas are comfortably appointed with the loft offering a game table (flip the top over for poker or a puzzle) and a cozy sofa for streaming your favorite show. Going down own the log staircase, you will overlook the main living room with a gas fireplace and seating for late night conversations or napping in the comfy recliners. The farm table for 8 can handle every meal with plenty of elbow room to spare. Stepping outside in the front, you will find four porch chairs and tables to take in the trees and the noises from nature. The toads will sing you to sleep every night. More camp chairs can be added to expand the crowd. A grill on the patio is also available for use in feeding your family. Outdoor games are being added as suggested and a corn hole on the porch is just too convenient to pass up. Behind the garage is a covered area that can be enjoyed with the camp chairs if you want to be eye level with the earth. (Please be aware of poison ivy and snakes that call our property home as well. We do our best to mitigate them but they are not going away easily.) We would love to host you at our Buffalo Home.
