About this space
A historic experience in a quaint mountain town awaits! Built in the 1800’s, this newly remodeled home is minutes from Pilot Mountain State Park and Hanging Rock State Park. Both offering climbing, hiking, horseback riding, and spectacular views. A short walk will take you to coffee shops, craft beer, fine wine, live music venues, and local shopping. Check out StoCo Provisions on FB for live music and great food every weekend.
Homemade Amish coffee cake provided for all stays in June!
The space
The space has a large comfortable living room with a kitchenette and dining table for two. The electric fireplace adds warmth and a feeling of home. The private bedroom has a new queen size bed with Egyptian cotton sheets. A sound machine is also provided. There is a TV in both the living room and the bedroom. The spacious bathroom has a new double walk in shower, two sinks, and a dressing area. Just steps outside the door is a picnic table for dining alfresco. There are lawn chairs with tables in the back yard for relaxing. You may experience a train going by! It usually runs at about 3 PM, but only twice a week. You can see the Sauron mountain range from the backyard!
