This 6 bedroom house is one of the Largest and Spacious Houses at the Resort and has stunning log work throughout - a true Alpine Experience! There is an oversized Hot Tub (100” x 90” as opposed to standard 84” x 84”) on the main deck off the Kitchen area. Natural Gas BBQ on Main Deck and gas fireplace in living area. There are 4 full bathrooms and 2 full kitchens. The property is very popular with and ideal for Multi Family and Generational Family bookings. We cater to family bookings. It is also popular for Golf Group bookings in the summer and of course, skiing/snowboarding in the winter. The house is located in close proximity to all the trail networks Kimberley has to offer, ideal for mountain biking (fat tire biking in the winter), nature walks and hiking. Parking for one car in the garage and 6 cars in driveway. There are a lot of games for both adults and kids including a FoosBall Table, Retro PacMan Arcade game (with various 80's games, Galaxa etc.) Dart Board and a variety of Board Games. Game room is on lower level, next to living area with TV. The house is a flat, 5 to 7 minute walk (400 meters) to the Main Ski Lift. Walking distance to Trickle Creek Golf course and close proximity to 5 other golf courses. This house is very popular with golf groups and families.

There is a Queen size Pull out Couch in the Living area.
CLEANING FEES: Please note that we take the cleanliness of the house and hot tub very seriously. The $350 fee is a cost recovery situation and not a profit maker. The houses are very large with many beds and multiple bathrooms. It takes a considerable amount of time to get them cleaned and prepared properly. There is also the cost of getting all the bedding and linen done, cleaning supplies, wear and tear on cleaning machines etc. The hot tub maintenance is also very diligent and the tubs are dumped and cleaned regularly. This is also a substantial cost. If you have any issues with either of these, we urge you to contact the owner immediately and it will be rectified promptly.
CHECK OUT TIME: Although we would like to allow for a later check out time, the houses are large, have many beds and bathrooms and take a long time to clean. It is for this reason we must adhere to a 10 am check out time.
WALKING PATH TO DOWNTOWN KIMBERLEY
Directly behind the house is the "Platzl to Peak" paved trail, a great way to visit Kimberley's downtown Platzl area for shopping and dining. It takes about 12 - 15 minutes to walk to downtown Kimberley.
You have full access to the entire house and outdoor private hot tub. There is a large, covered deck off the main floor where the Oversized Hot tub and Weber BBQ are. Patio table and chairs provided. There is also a patio on the lower level, also with Patio and Chairs provided.
I live in the area and am generally able to be at the houses with short notice for emergencies.
The neighborhood, although zoned for tourist accommodation, also has full time residents. If you are planning on coming to Kimberley for a loud, Party Weekend, please do not rent this property as it will not go unnoticed and will need to be dealt with.
The City of Kimberley Noise Bylaw is as follows and applies 24/7 for the duration of your stay. It is taken seriously and enforced, and it reads as follows:
"Noise Bylaw - No person shall cause or make, or permit to be made or caused, any noise in or on a public or private place which disturbs or tends to disturb the quiet, peace, rest, enjoyment, comfort, or convenience of any person or persons in the neighborhood or vicinity."
Quiet Times are 10 pm to 8 am and all outside noise needs to be brought inside the house during these hours.
We also ask that you refrain from having auxiliary speakers on the outside areas as it generally tends to escalate noise that may affect surrounding properties.
If you do not feel that these circumstances will work well for your group, it would be best to consider an alternate property for your stay, however the same Noise Bylaw does apply to all properties at the Resort area.
There is a Platzl to Peak asphalt/paved, low grade walking path right behind the house. It is about a 12-15 minute downhill walk to the Platzl shopping and restaurant area. Short 7-9 minute, flat walk to the main lift.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: We have good relations with our neighbors. The neighborhood is a mix of full time residents and vacation rentals. If you are planning on coming to Kimberley for a loud, Party Weekend, please do not rent this property. It will not go unnoticed and will need to be dealt with. The house cannot be rented as part of a larger group/booking combined with other properties, nor be used as a central gathering place for guests not included in the booking specific to this property.
As per City of Kimberley Good Neighbor Bylaw No. 2671, noise from the outside Hot tub and Deck areas must not affect the surrounding property owners' ability to enjoy their space. This applies 24/7 during your stay. Bylaw also states that QUIET TIMES are between 10 pm to 8 am. All outside noise must be brought inside the house during these hours.
DECIBEL MONITORING SYSTEM FOR OUTDOOR AREAS:
The outside Patio and Deck areas of this property are equipped with the Minut decibel monitoring system. These systems are increasingly common in short term rental properties. The system monitors sound levels and occupancy while protecting guests' stay and privacy. This system does NOT record sound or conversation. Guests will be notified remotely if sound levels exceed reasonable sound thresholds and threshold levels are lowered during Quiet Time Hours. For additional security measures, there is a RING video doorbell installed at the front door of the property.
Quiet hours are 10pm to 8am. This is a Mandated City Bylaw.
Please remove footwear at entrance of house.
It is imperative that we respect their space and privacy and loud partying will not/cannot be tolerated.
