Situated just south of the iconic Avalon Pier in Kill Devil Hills, you have direct and easy access to this sought after beach zone that locals cherish for its amazing fishing, surfing, sandbars, waves and relaxing. The smaller home sizes in this section keep density levels low and beaches less crowded. Enjoy the eclectic nightlife and people watching at the Pier, shopping at nearby Target/Starbucks, Jolly Roger for breakfast and Awful Arthurs for seafood and drinks, and all within walking or short biking distance. Unwind on the wood decks, perfect for soaking up the sun and enjoying ocean breezes. This is a single family home that has its own beach access directly out the back door. There are many properties on VRBO that are actually condo so be aware. Our home is one of the larger 3 bedrooms available.
We do not charge cleaning fees or fees for hot tub cleaning.


We purchased this home in 2019. Prior VRBO listing for this home is 584738 with years of great reviews! In 2019-2024 we have made many, many repairs/upgrades to the home, All rooms have been repainted. Luxury vinyl plank flooring installed in all bedrooms. HVAC/HW heater and roof were all replaced. 2 new sets of bunkbeds installed. New couches added to the great room. The master bathroom has been totally gutted and redone and has a walk in shower. A high top table has been added to the top deck to enjoy meals as well as 4 new polywood bar height chairs to take in the view.


Million Dollar Views! Sleeps eight: king, queen and two sets of bunk beds. WIFI! Hot Tub!!! Corn Hole Boards!! Stone's throw to beach! Direct beach access from deck. Oceanfront!! Views to die for! Updated kitchen and great room. Upgraded cabinets and granite counter tops. Ceramic tile in kitchen and half bath upstairs. Hardwood floors in great room. Luxury vinyl flooring in all bedrooms. Full sized washer and dryer. Outside deck. Charcoal grill. Outside shower!!! Path to oceanfront is accessed from lower deck. Driveway has ample parking for upto 6 cars and parking for one car under house. Walk to Avalon Pier for food, drinks and arcade fun. Ground floor storage room to store all beach equipment. Great restaurants nearby, cinemas, miniature golf and many other activities right around the house.

Easy like Sunday Mornin !
Living on the beach at this house was a vacation like no other ! The views from the top deck of the house having my coffee in the morning and a cocktail late afternoon were just perfect ! we loved the easy access to the beach, the jacuzzi and outdoor shower. The bathrooms were clean and the beds were comfortable ! We loved keeping the door open to the master bedroom at night so we can hear the ocean as we fell asleep. Thank you to the owners for such a wonderful stay. I highly recommend renting this house if you can !

Perfect location for an OBX getaway!
Overall, a great stay! Lots of space in the house and the location to the beach can’t be beat! Property could use a few cosmetic updates, but that did not take away from us enjoying our stay. Well stocked kitchen, tons of beach gear and great outdoor furniture to enjoy coffee while watching the dolphins. Would not hesitate to return!

We had a wonderful time at Aloha Beaches even though the weather was not the best. It is a great location for many activities to do. Hot tub was our favorite as it was cold and windy. Would definitely recommend.

Everything in the listing is very accurate. Great location on the beach as well as in the outer banks. The owner was great about answering questions before as well as during the vacation. The only thing I’d change was having linens and supplies available. We had a bad experience with the linen rental place. It would’ve been great to get here and have everything set up - even if they charged more.

Fun home in central location
We enjoyed our Thanksgiving stay here very much! The house was clean and well kept. The location is great if you want to close to restaurants and shopping but right on the beach at the same time. Our 9-year-old enjoyed being able to run right out to the ocean, while our 14-year-old enjoyed the ability to walk to Target/Starbucks on her own. The convenience of having grocery stores nearby was a big plus for us. We enjoyed having two different sofa sets so we could spread out in the evening. The kitchen was well supplied with appliances. It is worth noting that linens and towels are generally not included with this home.

Great family getaway
It was a great home for our family vacation. Location was perfect - steps from the beach, short drive to activities, and grocery store super close. Kitchen had everything promised and then some. Lots of board games for kids, and some kids books. Owners were nice and super responsive to any questions we had.

Fabulous house and location
We had a lovely time during our week stay at Nags Head. The house was perfect for us. It was right on the beach. We could walk out of the master bedroom right onto the beach walkway. We spent many morning with our coffee on the upper deck look out into the ocean. Evenings were spent playing games (supplies with the house!) and relaxing in the hot tub. The kitchen was stocked well with everything needed to cook. We used the charcoal grill quite a few times as well. Overall, everything was perfect. The beds were comfy and the rooms were open and spacious. Kevin was a great host. He responded to our queries immediately.

Really enjoyed our stay. After some instructions from Kevin we were able to finally get the key to start our wonderful vacation. Location and views were awesome. Perfect Family Getaway
We had the absolute best time. The house was perfect, very clean and equipped with everything we needed. The beach was in our backyard and we enjoyed every moment of it every day.
