Located in central Kihei, nestled on the northern end of beautiful Halama Street. Family-owned and operated legal short-term rental. A cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage with a large deck for sunbathing or BBQS. Less than a three-minute walk on the property will take you to a large spacious green lawn with swaying coconut palm trees and to a seemingly private sandy beach. Swim with the turtles or choose from the many types of possible ocean activities. Ocean equipment is available at the numerous rental shops in town. Enjoy nearby parks, tennis, gymnasium, public pool, surfing lessons and much more. In the heart of Kihei near banks, stores, dining and many activities, but still very private! Once you are here, you will see why it’s called Al’s Paradise. There are two dwellings on this beach front property - an apartment building with four units, that is rented as a whole unit, and a detached 2 BR/1BA cottage. The apartment building (ocean front) and the cottage (mountain view) are rented our separately. This listing, #1990869, is for the cottage only. Both buildings have direct to the beach and lawn to relax, BBQ, and enjoy the unforgettable views and sunsets!
Stairs are necessary to access the apartment building, cottage, backyard and beach area. For your convenience, the Owner resides on the property in a separate unit below the cottage.

Perfect location
Great location with everything you will need in the house. Very close to a little beach where we would paddle board or just sit and watch the turtles pop up. We could also see whales every day! Would definitely stay again.

All the glowing reports about this place are true. You walk straight back to a splendid beach, no road in between. The dwelling is spanking clean and convenient. Comfortable beds, good kitchen facilities, excellent AC. And Mike, the host, is as helpful and friendly as can be.

Wonderful place, great location!
Host is amazing, he was super helpful and went out of his way to help my wife and I have an amazing vacation in Hawaii. The VRBO is very clean and spacious, no complaints at all. Around the back is amazing access to a quiet beach. Loved it and highly recommended.

The location was even better than we expected and everybody loved it: secluded and basically right on the beach! This little cottage had everything we needed and our host Mike was the most accommodating and informative about what places to visit, where to eat, what local activities to try! The cottage was a hop from a beautiful beach that was isolated which was what we were looking for. The property was fully equipped, mike thought of everything that was needed for an enjoyable stay at the island! Not only did he host us but also gave us some amazing suggestions for the island. Kihei is a great central location for the Island of Maui. The property is right on the beach with amazing views. The host greeted us in person and gave us local tips for our activities each day. I highly recommend staying here! We will be back again for sure.
