Thank you for such a wonderful stay at your beautiful home in Happy Valley. We had the best holiday ever. The house was amazing, spotless on our arrival. Had everything we needed and literally everything was a breeze from start to finish. Elspeth was wonderful, house amazing. Not a single complaint. We will be back, next year, and every year thereafter.. thank you!

Great family home!
The house was fantastic. It was well equipped with everything you needed and more. The kitchen had more than enough utensils and pots pans ect. And the house was stocked with loads of board games. Great dinning area inside and outside by the bbq so nobody ever had to cook alone. Only a short 5 minute walk down to the beach was a treat, and the shops and pub 1 minute down the road. Thanks!

Loved the house, upstairs has a bathroom, bar-fridge and private sitting area if someone needs extra space. Downstairs has everything you want and need. The place was easy to clean afterwards, everything was where we needed it to be. Plan your trip around the weather & tides, we did and had an amazing time. No complaints!! Thank you all involved. The nearby “Local” was a little overpriced for the quality of meals but had an excellent atmosphere, staff and cold drinks 🍻

We stayed with two families of 4. There was plenty of space and everything we needed for our 4 night stay. We wish we could have stayed longer. There was a bit of confusion with our check in but Elspeth was very responsive and sorted it out very quickly. We would love to stay again.

We had a lovely week staying at Shearwater. It is really well equipped and comfortable for a large group. The gas, solar and battery setup works a treat. We loved the extra touches like a small high chair, picnic plates and wine glasses, toys, games etc.

We were very satisfied with everything about the property, especially its location, as we fished mainly north of here in past years, so this year we had less travelling time up and down the island. We found the main kitchen/family room to be very spacious and ideal for our group of 6 (fishermen), and very well equipped with everything needed, especially the fridge/freezer space. The solar/power supply was fine, even with a lot of overcast days during our stay. Would definitely recommend this place to others. Regards, Mike Higgins

Great location. Loads of pantry staples supplied. Truely caters for 2 big families with great fridge space and room to spread out. (Minor issue - cordless vacuum doesn’t hold charge)

The property was fantastic, large enough for 10 people to comfortably fit. Well equiped house to suit every age. Easy access to the beach and inland tracks. Communication with owner was excellent and a small issue that we had was taken care of very quickly. Made for a very memorable first time on Fraser
