We had a family suite that was in the building interior. Although very spacious it relies on the buildings heating and cooling rather than a stand alone ac/heat unit. Unfortunately, the first room we had was experiencing a power issue and the room we were moved to was quite cold and heat wasn’t an option for the time of year we were there. After turning off the AC it took all night to warm up. All the staff we encountered were very friendly!

Great hotel!
Don’t let the outside fool you - the inside is great! We weren’t sure what we were getting into when we arrived and saw a dated looking building. We had booked a standard room but had the option to upgrade to a suite. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and friendly, she showed us the standard room and the suite. The standard room looked clean and comfortable, though a bit small. The suite didn’t cost much extra so we went with it, and it was definitely luxury like the sign says! The hotel is within walking distance of the main attractions in Keystone too. So glad we gave this hotel a chance!

Easy access to room. Comfortable beds and spacious room. Good coffee available in lobby early. Very sufficient breakfast with hot dishes and protein which many do t have. Nice amount of counter space in room. Didn’t like that they didn’t do room freshening the whole 3 days we were there so tiny trash cans not sufficient.

Conveniently located near Mt Rushmore and other Black Hills attractions. However, room was not properly serviced. Doors, door handles, common surfaces were dirty or greasy. Carpeting was not vacuumed. TV service was inconsistent. Water was rusty.

We were very pleased with our suite during our recent stay. It was spacious, clean and relaxing when returning from a long day of sight seeing. We used the pool, which was in great condition. We also made use of the wonderful laundry room to prepare for the next stint on our roadtrip. We experienced 2 or 3 minor issues which were handled in a prompt and satisfactory manor. Great place, especially for the price point.

It was a nice place, however the bed and pillows were a lot harder than i was expecting or like. The bathtub faucet dripped no matter how many times you try to shut it off. Staff was very friendly and helpful

Great location. 2 miles to rushmore monument, 10 miles to crazy horse. Very close to Custer State Park too. Breakfast was reasonably good. Amy was great help in placing us in a room to accommodate our needs
